Abstract
Neoliberal policies are an economic policy that has been dominant all over the world since the 1980s. According to this view, liberalization and globalization in the economy were supported. This model, in which there is no state intervention, started to be implemented in Turkey after the 1980s. In this study starting from 1980 until today, it has been examined how neoliberal policies have affected income distribution in developing countries and Turkey. Income distribution justice in the economy was examined by using the gini coefficient, individual and functional income distribution measurement methods, which are the most frequently used methods when measuring income distribution justice. While examining the effects of macroeconomic variables on income distribution and their changes over the years, it has been tried to understand how the effects of the policies implemented on income distribution are.
