Publication: Küreselleşmenin gelişmekte olan ülkelerin dış ticaret dinamikleri üzerindeki etkisi
Abstract
Globalisation has emerged as a powerful force reshaping the economic landscapes of nations around the world. For developing countries, the effects of globalisation on their trade dynamics are profound and multifaceted. As these nations become increasingly integrated into the global economy, they experience both opportunities and challenges that significantly affect their trade patterns, economic growth and overall development. One of the most noticeable effects of globalisation is increased access to international markets. Developing countries have benefited from the reduction of trade barriers such as tariffs and quotas, enabling them to export goods and services more freely. This access has often led to the diversification of their economies, with countries that were previously dependent on a limited range of exports now engaging in more diverse trade practices. In conclusion, globalisation has had both positive and negative effects on foreign trade dynamics for developing countries. In order for these countries to make use of the opportunities brought by globalisation, it is important for them to establish a sustainable growth model, increase their technological investments and focus on value-added products in exports. In addition, a diversified trade structure is needed to be more resilient to economic fluctuations. The aim of this study is to examine various factors determining the foreign trade performance of developing countries and to analyse the impact of these factors on the globalisation process.
