Abstract
21. yüzyılın başlarında dünya geçirdiği dönüşümler çerçevesinde birtakım toplumsal hareketlere şahit olmuştur. Çağımızın işaret fişeği olan internetin keşfinden sonra toplumsal yapılar ağ etrafında örgütlenmeye başlamıştır. Bu ağ toplumunda, ağ devletleri olarak niteleyebileceğimiz günümüz devletleri, artık ulus-devlet yapısının yetersiz kaldığı, liberal demokrasinin sorgulandığı, kurumsal yapılarda çözülmelerin yaşandığı, ekonomide kapital sistemin çanlarının çaldığı bir dönemi yaşamaktadır. 2011’de Orta Doğu’da başlayarak bir yangın gibi ülkelere sıçrayan toplumsal hareketler patlak vermiştir. At the beginning of the 21st century, the world has witnessed several social movements in the context of transformations that it went through. After the discovery of the internet which is that star shell of our century, the social structures has begun to be organized the network. In this network society the present day states which can be called as ‘network states’ are experiencing a period in which the nation state structure is no more sufficient, the liberal democracy is questioned, there is resolution in institutional structures and in which capital system’s bell rings in economy. At the year 2011, social movements erupted which started in the Middle East like a fire and leaped to other countries. Primarily introducing the conceptual framework, these movements that took place in the Middle East will be handled in the context of network society.
