Abstract

MEKTEB-İ HUKUK’UN KURULUŞU VE FAALİYETLERİ (1878-1900) Bu tez çalışmasında, modern hukukun Türkiye’ye girme sürecinde verilen hukuk eğitimi konu alınmıştır. II. Abdülhamid döneminde, 1878 yılında kurulup 1880 yılında eğitime başlayan Mekteb-i Hukuk çalışmanın mihverini teşkil etmektedir. Mekteb-i Hukuk öncesi hukuk mektepleri kısaca ele alındıktan sonra Mekteb-i Hukuk’un kuruluşu, açılışı, idarecileri, malî idaresi, müfredatı, hocaları, sınavları, öğrencileri, mezunları ve denetlenmesi, mektebin Osmanlı hukukunun değişmesi sürecindeki rolü dikkate alınarak izah edilmiştir.

THE FOUNDATION OF THE LAW SCHOOL AND ITS ACTIVITIES (1878-1900) The law education that has been taught in the process of the entrance of the Modern law into the Ottoman Empire is the subject of that dissertation. The Law School, which has been established at 1878 and started to educate at 1880 in the Hamidian Era, is the axis of the study. Following an analysis on the preceding law schools, I am going to examine these topics related to the Law School: the foundation and inauguration of the Law School; its officials, and financial administration; the curriculum and the exams of the School; the students; the inspection process. Finally, I will touch on the role of the Law Scool to the evolution of the Ottoman Law in the direction of Modernity.
