Publication: Bir olgu nedeniyle ani bebek ölümü sendromu
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, 3 aylık bir bebeğin ani beklenmeyen ölümü ile sonuçlanan bir olgu sunulmaktadır. Ani Bebek ölümü Sendromu (ABOS), temel olarak 1 yaş altı herhangi bir bebeğin ani ve açıklanamayan ölümü olarak tanımlanmakta olup, ülkemizde yapılan çalışmalarda karşımıza olgu sunumları şeklinde çıkmaktadır. Gelişmiş ülkelerde post neonatal bebek ölümlerinin en sık nedenlerinden biri olan ABOS'na, ülkemizde yeterli olay yeri incelemesi yapılmaması ve bu tip bebek otopsilerine standart bir yaklaşımın olmaması nedeniyle ABOS tanısı konulamamaktadır.
In this study, sudden and unexpected death in a 3-monthold infant was reported. Deaths of infants younger than 1-year-old for whom a thorough postmortem examination failed to reveal an adequate cause of death constitute the "Sudden Infant Death Syndrome" (SIDS). In developed countries, SIDS is one of the most common cause of death in postneonatal .infants, but SIDS is being undetermined due to insufficiency in crime scene investigation and not explored with the same autopsy protocol in all cases, in our country.
