In this study, electrical vehicle (EV) technologies, vehicle dynamic, the parameters of asynchronous motor were investigated. The performance requirements for a passenger car were calculated from the equations of vehicle dynamic. The performance characteristics of asynchronous motor were evaluated. To achieve the desired motor performance requirements, trivial parameters for asynchronous motor were eliminated by Taguchi's method. After the defining of critical parameters for asynchronous motor, the parameters of asynchronous motor were optimized. As a result, using Taguchi method and related standard deviation value have provided to avoid waste of time from long analysis time.
