Kısa filmlerde 12 Eylül 1980 Darbesi'nin etkisi

Abstract

Kısa film sinemanın araçları ile gerçekleştirilen bir anlatı türüdür. Kısa filmi özgün kılan, süresi ile kendine özgü nitelikleri ve yapısıdır. Bu tür filmler tıpkı uzun metrajlı film gibi anlatım potansiyeli içermektedir. Dolayısıyla kısa filmin içerdiği özellikler ile filmsel anlatının özgün bir türü olduğu görülmektedir. Video filmlerin ortaya çıkışı kısa filmin dönüşümünü hızlandıran ana sebep olmuştur. 1980’li yıllarda, kablo ve uydu kanallarında gerçekleşen artış, kısa filmleri büyük bir pazar haline getirmiştir. Bu dönemde, 12 Eylül 1980 darbesi, kültür ve sanat ortamları ile sinemayı da derinden etkilemiştir. Diğer tüm sanat dalları gibi sinema da, içinde bulunduğu toplumun ekonomik, siyasi ve teknolojik koşullarından etkilenmiştir. Yapılan bu çalışmanın amacı da, kısa filmlerde 12 Eylül 1980 darbesinin etkilerinin incelenmesidir.

Short film is a kind of narration performed with the tools of cinema. The duration and the characteristics of a short film are what makes it unique. Such films contain narrative potential just like the feature-length films. Thus, it is a unique type of film narrative with its characteristics. The emergence of video films is the main reason for the emergence of short films. In the 1980s, the increase in cable and satellite channels made short films a big market. During this period, the 12 September 1980 coup deeply affected the cinema, culture and art scene. Like all other art branches, cinema is influenced by the economic, political and technological conditions of the society it belongs to. The aim of this work is to examine the effects of the September 12, 1980 coup on short films.
