Sermaye birikiminin sporu içermesinin bir sonucu olarak doping

Abstract

Doping, spor söz konusu olduğunda günümüzün en tartışmalı konularından biridir. Kamuoyunda dopingin yarışma etiğine ve sporcu sağlığına zararlı bir eylem olduğu genel bir algı olsa da anti doping uygulamaları, doping kullanımına engel olamamaktadır. Bunun temel nedeni ise dopinge bakış açısındaki yanlışlıklıktır. Her şeyden önce konuya spor ve sermaye birikim süreci arasındaki ilişki açısından bakılmalıdır. Bu ilişki tüm yönleriyle analiz edildiğinde görülmektedir ki, doping kullanımı spor sektörünün, birikim kaygısıyla sporcular üzerinde kurduğu baskının sonuçlarından biridir.Bu çalışma, sermaye birikimi ve spor arasındaki ilişki üzerinden dopingin nasıl tanımlanması gerektiğine yoğunlaşmaktadır. Dopingin, devasa spor sektöründe hangi noktada karşımıza çıktığı da analiz edilmektedir. Bunun bir sonucu olarak da dopingle nasıl mücadele edilmesi gerektiğine dair öneri sunmaktadır.

Doping is the one of the controversial issues when it comes to sport. Allthough there is a perception that doping is detrimental to ethics of competition and the health of athletes, the implementation of anti-doping has not been enough to prevent doping usage. The main reason for that is the misperception of doping. Above all, the issue should be scrutinized in the point of relationship between accumulation of capital and sport. When this relationship is analyzed in all its aspects, it is seen that the use of doping is one of the consequences of the pressure that the sports sector builds on athletes with a concern for accumulation.This study focused on the how doping should be defined through the relationship between accumulation of capital and sport. It is also analyzed that at which point doping occurs in the huge sports sector. As a result, this study suggests how to deal with doping usage.
