Abstract
Gençlerde Cinsel Sağlık Tutum Ölçeği Geliştirme Çalışması Öğrencinin adı: Melek Hava KÖPRÜLÜ Danışmanı: Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Zübeyde EKŞİ GÜLOĞLU Marmara Üniversitesi Doğum ve Kadın Hastalıkları Hemşireliği Amaç: Bu çalışma, 18-25 yaş arası gençlerde cinsel sağlığa yönelik tutumları değerlendirmek amacıyla ölçek geliştirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Metodolojik olarak planlanan çalışma 01.01.2021-01.07.2022 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Gaziantep ili Hasan Kalyoncu Üniversitesi’nde öğrenim gören 4000 öğrenci ve Gaziantep ili Dr. Beşir Öke Aile Sağlığı Merkezine araştırma uygulaması tarihleri arasında başvuran 1800 birey oluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya örneklem kriterlerine uyan; toplam 721 kişi alınmıştır. Araştırmanın verileri; Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve Gençlerde Cinsel Sağlık Tutum Ölçeği ile toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya 18-25 yaş aralığında toplam 721 kişi katılmıştır ve bu katılımcıların yaş ortalamaları 21.09±2.17 yıldır. Çalışmanın Açıklayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) sonuçlarına göre; Madde faktör yükleri 0.404-0.887 arasında değişen kabul edilebilir değerler almıştır. AFA sonucunda, toplam varyansın %56,29’unu açıklayan ve özdeğer katsayısı 1’in üzerinde toplam 7 alt boyuttan oluşan ölçek yapısı elde edilmiştir. Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizinde ise, ölçek maddelerinin faktör yük değerleri 0,63-0,92 arasında değişen kabul edilebilir değerler almıştır. Ölçeğin uyum indeksleri, CMIN/ df= 2,553, RMSEA 0.066, NFI 0.85, CFI 0.90, IFI 0.90, RFI 0.83 olarak kabul edilebilir düzeyde uyum sağlamıştır. Ölçeğin Cronbach α değeri 0.94 ve alt boyutlarının Cronbach α değerlerinin 0.72 ile 0,91 arasında değiştiği ve yüksek derecede güvenirliğe sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Ölçeğin madde-toplam puan korelasyon katsayılarının 0.300-0.741 arasında değiştiği ve tüm maddelerin 0.30’un üzerinde değer aldığı yani iyi derecede ayırt etme özelliğine sahip olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Yapılan analizler sonucunda, Gençlerde Cinsel Sağlığa Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği’nin, gençlerin cinsel sağlığa yönelik tutumlarını belirlemede geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu bulunmuştur. Bu doğrultuda ölçek Türkiye’de konuyla ilgili yapılan çalışmalarda başarıyla kullanılabilir.
Sexual Health Attitude Scale Development Study in Young People Student's name: Melek Hava KÖPRÜLÜ Supervisor: Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Zübeyde EKŞİ GÜLOĞLU Department: Marmara University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Objective: This study was conducted with the aim of developing a scale to evaluate attitudes towards sexual health among young people between the ages of 18-25. Material and Methods: The methodologically planned study was carried out between 01.01.2021 and 01.07.2022. The population of the research consisted of 4000 students studying at Hasan Kalyoncu University in Gaziantep and 1800 individuals who applied to Dr. Beşir Öke Family Health Center in Gaziantep between the dates of the research application. A total of 721 people who met the sampling criteria were included in the study. The data of the research; It was collected with “Personal Information Form” and “Sexual Health Attitude Scale Among Young People”. Results: A total of 721 people between the ages of 18-25 participated in the study and the mean age of these participants was 21.09±2.17 years. According to the Explanatory Factor Analysis (EFA) results of the study; Item factor loads took acceptable values ranging from 0.404 to 0.887. As a result of EFA, a scale structure consisting of a total of 7 sub-dimensions with an eigenvalue coefficient above 1 and explaining %56,29% of the total variance was obtained. In the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, the factor loading values of the scale items took acceptable values ranging from 0.63 to 0.92. The fit indices of the scale were CMIN/ df= 2,553, RMSEA 0.066, NFI 0.85, CFI 0.90, IFI 0.90, RFI 0.83, with an acceptable level of agreement. It was found that the Cronbach α value of the scale was 0.94 and the Cronbach α values of the sub-dimensions ranged between 0.72 and 0.91 and had a high degree of reliability. It was determined that the item-total score correlation coefficients of the scale ranged from 0.300 to 0.741, and all items had a value above 0.30, that is, they had a good discrimination feature. Conclusion: As a result of the analyzes, it was found that Sexual Health Attitude Scale Among Young People is a valid and reliable measurement tool in determining the attitudes of young people towards sexual health. Accordingly, the scale can be successfully used in studies conducted in Turkey on the subject.
