Publication: Akciğer tüberkülozlu hastalarda tedaviyi etkileyen faktörlerin incelenmesi
Abstract
Hastaların %69,2'si erkek, %37,5'i 15-25 yaş arası, %47,5'i okuryazar ve ilkokul mezunudur. Daha önce tüberküloz tedavisi gören hastaların % 50'sinin tedaviyi tamamladığı, tedaviyi tamamlamada cinsiyetin kadınlar lehine olduğu saptanmıştır. Yaş gruplarının tedaviyi tamamlamada etkili olmadığı, eğitim durumunun, alkol kullanımının, hastalık durumunda düzenli ilaç kullanımının tedaviyi tamamlamada etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir. İlaçları temin etme şekli, tüberküloz ilaçlarının düzenli kullanılması, ilaçların kullanım saati ve dozunu ayarlayan kişinin tedaviyi tamamlamada etkili olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Meslek, hanedeki birey sayısı, sigara kullanımı, oturulan konut tipi, konutta rutubet bulunması, günlük öğün sayısı, günlük uyku süresinin tedaviyi tamamlamada etkili olmadığı saptanmıştır. Başka hastalığın bulunması, düzenli sağlık kontrollerine katılım, ailede başka tüberküloz hastasının bulunmasının tedaviyi tamamlamada etkili olmadığı belirlenmiştir.
In this descriptively planned research, factors affecting treatment of the pulmonary tuberculosis are defined with the evaluation of maintaining therapy. This research was performed in Yedikule Pulmonary Diseases Hospital and Heybeliada Sanatorium between June 1st and September 31st of 2000. 120 tuberculosis patients who stayed in the hospital for a week or more, between 15-65 years of age; cooperable, willing to fill the questionnaire were selected for the subject group. The data was obtained with the usage of a questionnaire which consists 54 questions. (Appendix 1) The statistical analysis was based on chi square test. 69,2 % of the patients were male, 37,5 % were between 15-25 years of age and 47,5 % of them were literate. Among the patients who were treated for tuberculosis, 50 % has completed the treatment, female gender dominance was observed in the completion of the therapy. age has no effect for completion, education, alcohol usage, regular drug usage, all affect completion. The way of achieving drugs, regular usage of antituberculotics, person who adjusting drug dosage and timing have no effect on completion. Occupation, number of living in the same house, smoking, type of the house, humidity, number of daily meals, duration of sleeping did not affect the completion of the therapy. The presence of a concomitant disease, regular health controls, the presence of another tuberculosis patient on the same family, has no effect on completing the treatment.
