Publication: Yerel gazeteler ışığında Aydın’da sosyo-ekonomik ve siyasi hayat 1956-1960
Abstract
BAYRAM, İlker. Yerel Gazeteler Işığında Aydın’da Sosyo – Ekonomik ve Siyasi Hayat 1956 - 1960, stanbul, 2011. Bu çalışma Demokrat Parti döneminde Aydın’da sosyo – ekonomik ve siyasi yaşa-ma bir nebze de olsa ışık tutmayı hedeflemiştir. Daha önce benzeri bir çalışma yapılma-masının konunun ehemmiyetini artırdığını düşünmekteyiz. Çalışmada Demokrat Parti ik-tidarının yalnızca 2. yarısı yerel gazeteler ışığında incelenebilmiştir. Dolayısıyla Demokrat Parti iktidarının ilk yarısı ve daha fazla ayrıntı, incelenmeyi beklemektedir. Dönemin belediye başkanıyla ve dönemin CHP üyesi sonraki dönemin CHP Aydın senatörü ile söyleşi yapılmış olmasının çalışmamızı zenginleştirdiği kanaatindeyiz. Tezimizde yerel ga-zetelerin haberleri esas alınmıştır. Dolayısıyla çalışmamız Aydın’da çıkan gazetelerde yayımlanan haberler tasnif edilerek gerçekleşmiştir. Tasnifte iki temel başlıktan biri sosyo – ekonomik yaşam iken diğeri siyasi yaşam olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmamız neticesinde, hem dönemin Aydınında hem Türkiyesinde ele alınan konularda, belirgin bir iyileşmenin gerçekleştiği gözlemlenmiştir. Ancak bu dönemde yaşananlar, hükümetlerin dış politikada ne kadar dikkatli kararlar vermeleri gerektiğini bir kere daha göstermiştir. Çalışmamızda tarafsız bir tutumla o dönemde hükümet yanlısı bir gazeteyi ve hükû-met yanlısı yayın yapmayan (hatta CMP yanlısı olup CHP’li vatandaşların da desteğini sağladığı tespit edilen) bir gazeteyi karşılaştırdık. Ayrıca yine aynı amaç doğrultusunda o dönemin iktidar partisi belediye başkanı ve o dönemin ana muhalefet partisi üyesi ile söyle-şilerde bulunuldu.

This project aims to illuminate the economical and political life of the time of Ad-nan Menderes goverment (Demokrat Parti). When I decided to work on this project, I reali-zed that there is no any proper research about it so I decided to focus on it. In this Project only the second half of the Democratic Party goverment’s period is examined with the help of local newspapers. So, it doesn’t include details from the first half of the Demokrat Parti goverment. In this Project, having interviewed the mayor and the member of CHP who is also the senator of the city of Aydın enriched my studies. In this survey local newspapers were taken into account. The subjects were pointed out in advance were the classification of the news which were figured in the newspapers at that time in Aydın. In the classificati-on, one of the basic title is socio economic and the other one is political life. As a result of this Project, I observed a total rising about the subjects that I examined both in Aydın and in Turkey. But, I also understood that the goverments should be careful as much as they can while making a decision in foreign policy. In my study, I tried to stay neutral. In order to do this I compared two different newspapers articles which have two different aspects. We also talked about the asme issu-es with the mayor of governing party and main opposition party’s mayor.
