Publication: Hat ve Hattatan’da osmanlı hattatları
Abstract
Araştırmamızda; Mirzâ Habib Efendi'nin kaleme aldığı, hattat biyografileri alanında ilk matbû eser unvanlı, Hat ve Hattâtân isimli kitaptan Osmanlı hattatlarını ele alıp incelemeye çalıştık. Araştırmamız, dört ana kısımdan oluşmaktadır. Bunlar: Giriş, Hat ve Hattâtân, Osmanlı Hattatları, Değerlendirme ve Sonuç bölümleridir. Giriş bölümü ise; Hat San'atı Nedir?, Hat San'atının Tarihi Gelişimi, Hattatlık, Kaynak ve Araştırmalar adlı alt bölümlerden meydana gelmektedir. Hat San'atı Nedir? alt bölümünde ilk önce bu sanatın maddî-manevî genel bir tarifini yaptık. Daha sonra hat sanatının yazı çeşitlerinden bahsettik. Ayrıca hüsn-i hattın kullanılma sahalarını –kimi zaman örnekler vererek- izah ettik. Hat Sanatının Tarihî Gelişimi'nde ise; İslâm yazısının kaynağı olan Nabat yazısından başlayarak, onun tarihî süreç içerisinde geçirdiği gelişmesini, ayrıntıları ile anlattık. Hat sanatının mektep sahibi büyük üstâdlarını da, yetiştirdikleri meşhur talebeleri ve verdikleri gözde örnekleriyle beraber tanıttık. Hattatlık alt bölümünde; hattatı ilk kullanılan isimleriyle birlikte tarif ettik. Ayrıca hat sanatını icrâ eden sanatkârların yetişme şartlarını ve bir hattatın sahip olması gereken özelliklerini de belirttik. Kaynak ve Araştırmalar alt bölümündeyse; hat sanatı ve hattat biyografileri sahasında bugüne değin yapılmış çalışmaları ana bilgiler çerçevesinde sıraladık. İkinci ana bölüm olan Hat ve Hattâtan da; kitabın müellifi Mirzâ Habib Efendi'yi, hayatı ve eserleri ile birlikte anlatarak; Hat ve Hattâtân hakkında genel bir bilgi verdik. Araştırmamızın önemli ve büyük yekûnunu tutan Osmanlı Hattatları ana bölümünü, yedi alt kısma ayırdık. Adı geçen hattatların biyografilerini Arap harflerinden Lâtin harflerine aktararak okumaya çalıştık. Değerlendirme ve Sonuç bölümünde ise; eser hakkında değerlendirmelerimizi yapıp, bir sonuca vardık.
In our research we tried to examine the Ottoman Calligraphers by searching Mirzâ Habib Efendi's book called Calligraphy and calligraphers. Our research consists of for main parts: Introduction, Calligraphy and Calligraphers, Otoman Calligraphers and Evaluation and Conclusion. In the Introduction part we will discuss; What is calligraphic art?, Historical improvement of calligraphy, Calligraphers, Source and researches. In What is calligraphic art? section, first we gave a moraland materialistic general description of calligraphy. Then we mentioned about the various kinds of calligraphic art. In addition we explained the fields of calligraphy usage and gave some samples. In the Historical improvement of calligraphy section; beginning with Nabat writing, which is the source of Islamic writing, we mentioned the impprovement stages of calligraphy in that historical period, in detail. And we also introduced the well-known masters of calligraphic art, who have their own schools and the calligraphers which were educated by them, and we gave their favorite samples. In the Calligraphers part, we described challigrapher with it's first used names. Further we mentioned the training conditions for a calligrapher and the specialities they need to possess. In the Source and researches section, we listed the general studies done about calligraphic art and biographies about calligraphers up to present day. In Calligraphy and Calligraphers, the second main point of our thesis, we described the life and studies of Mirza Habib Efendi, author of the book Calligraphy an calligraphers. In addition we gave a general information about calligraphic art and calligraphers. Central to our thesis is the section on Ottoman calligraphers, which consists of seven sections, we have attempted to transliterate the mentioned calligraphers biographies from the Arabic script into the Latin script. In the Evaluation and Conclusion part, we tried to evaluate the object of our thesis and came to a conclusion.
