Harputlu Rahmî Efendi’nin Tuhfe-i Dostân Şerh-i Bostân adlı eseri

Abstract

Giriş, üç ana bölüm ve sonuçtan müteşekkil olan bu çalışma Tuhfe-i Dostân Şerh-i Bostân adlı eserin ilmî neşrini hedeflemektedir. Eserin müellifi XIX. yüzyılda yaşamış dîvân şairi Harputlu Rahmî Efendi’dir. Tuhfe-i Dostân Şerh-i Bostân’ın Saʿdî-i Şîrâzî’nin Bostan adlı mesnevisine yazılmış bir şerh olması sebebiyle giriş bölümünde Osmanlı kültür ve edebiyatında şerh türü ve Bostan’ın ehemmiyetine değinilmiş, Bostan’a yazılan Türkçe şerhler üzerinde durulmuştur. Birinci bölümde Tuhfe-i Dostân Şerh-i Bostân’ın müellifi/ şârihi Harputlu Rahmî Efendi’nin hayatı, edebî şahsiyeti ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde eserin yazılış sebebi ve tarihi, tercüme ve şerh yöntemi, muhtevâsı, kaynakları, dil ve imla özellikleri, Bostan’ın tamamına yapılan Türkçe şerhler içindeki yeri incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde ise nüsha tavsifi ve eserin tenkitli metni mevcuttur.

Consisting of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion, this study aims at the academic publication of Tuhfe-i Dostān Şerh-i Bostān. The author of the work is Harputlu Rahmi Efendi, a divan poet who lived in the 19th century. Since Tuhfe-i Dostān Şerh-i Bostān is a commentary written on Saʿdī Shīrāzī's masnavi called Bustān, the type of commentary (sharh) in Ottoman culture and literature and the importance of Bustān were mentioned in the introduction, and Turkish commentaries written in Bustān were emphasized. In the first chapter, information is given about the life, literary personality and works of Harputlu Rahmi Efendi, the commantater of Tuhfe-i Dostān Şerh-i Bostān. In the second part, the reason for its writing and its writing date, the method of translation and commentary, its content, sources, language and spelling features, its place in the Turkish commentaries made for the whole of Bustān were examined. In the third part, there is a description of the copy and the critical text of the work.
