İlköğretim 7. sınıf vatandaşlık ve insan hakları eğitimi dersi kavramlarının öğrenilmesinde sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel faktörler ile eğitim-öğretim uygulamalarının etkileri

Abstract

7. SINIF VATANDAŞLIK VE İNSAN HAKLARI EĞİTİMİ DERSİ KAVRAMLARININ ÖĞRENİLMESİNDE SOSYAL, EKONOMİK VE KÜLTÜREL FAKTÖRLER İLE EĞİTİM–ÖĞRETİM UYGULAMALARININ ETKİLERİ Bu araştırma, 7. sınıf Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi dersinde geçen kavramların öğrenilmesinde sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel faktörler ile eğitim- öğretim uygulamalarının etkilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaçla İstanbul ili Üsküdar, Ümraniye ve Kadıköy ilçelerinden üçer ilköğretim okulu olmak üzere toplam 9 okul, 8. sınıfa giden 326 öğrenci ve 12 sosyal bilgiler öğretmenine ulaşılarak örneklem grubu oluşturulmuştur. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi sonucunda sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel faktörler ile eğitim-öğretim uygulamalarının vatandaşlık kavramlarının öğrenilmesindeki etkileri irdelenmiştir. İstatiksel değerlendirmede frekans ve yüzdeler bulunmuş, “Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA)” ile bazı değişkenlere ilişkin (ANOVA) Sonrası Post-Hoc Tamhane’s T2 Testi ve bağımsız grup t testi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre; 1.Öğrencilerin yaşadıkları yer, sahip oldukları olanaklar (internet, vcd, ansiklopedi, gazete alımı değişkenleri) ve katıldıkları kültürel etkinlikler içinde yer alan tiyatro 7. sınıf Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi dersinde geçen kavramların öğrenilmesini olumlu yönde etkilemektedir. 2.Öğrencilerin algıladıkları ekonomik düzey (ailelerinin maddi durum değişkeni) 7. sınıf Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi dersinde geçen kavramların öğrenilmesini etkilememektedir. 3.Öğrencilerin öğretmenlerinin kişisel özellikler içinde yer alan öğretmen kıdemi 7. sınıf Vatandaşlık ve İnsan Hakları Eğitimi dersinde geçen kavramların öğrenilmesini olumlu yönde etkilemekte fakat mesleki özellikleri kavram öğrenmelerini etkilememektedir. SEVENTH CLASES CIVILISATION AND HUMAN RIGHTS EDUCATION LESSON’S EFFECT ON EDUCATION AND TEACHING PRACTISE OF LEARNING CONCEPTS WITH SOCIAL, ECONOMICAL AND CULTURAL FACTORS

This research is prepared with the aim of learning the concepts of social, economical and cultural functions of the seventh classes Civilization and Human Rights Education Lesson. Due to this aim a sample study is done in nine schools, with three hundred twenty six eighth classes students and twelve social science teachers. These schools are in İstanbul but in different regions as follows, in Üsküdar, Ümraniye and Kadıköy. After the evaluation of datas, it is identified that; the social, economical and cultural functions of the students, affects their learning of civilisation concepts. In statistical evaluation the frequincies and their percetages are found and according to some varieties with ANOVA, Post-Hoc Tamhane’s T2 Test and free group t test is applied. As a result of all the evaluations and researches: 1.The place where the students live and facilities ( as internet, vcd, encyclopedias, newspapers ) also theatre, as the cultural facility that a student involves affects the seventh class students learning civilisation and human rights education lesson concepts positively. 2.The students’ perception of their economical level (families material position variety) does not affect the the seventh class students learning civilisation and human rights education lesson concepts. 3.The teachers’ seniority as a part of the teachers personality speciality affects the seventh class students learning civilisation and human rights education lesson concepts positively but the teachers’ occupational specialities doesn’t affect it.
