Hıristiyanlığın öncüsü olarak İskenderiyeli Philo

Abstract

Hıristiyanlık, İsa’nın dini yani Yahudilikten doğmuş bir harekettir. Haç olayından sonra İsa’nın takipçileri, onun amacı ile ilgili farklı görüşlere sahip olmuşlardır. Bundan dolayı bir kısmı kendilerini, İsa’dan gördükleri yaşam tarzı içinde sınırlarken; bazıları bu sınırın ötesine geçebilmiştir. Böylece kilise tarihinde birçok tartışmalar belirmiştir. Bu görüş ayrılıklarının kökeni, Gnostisizm, Tanrıdan-korkanlar, Yahudi Hıristiyanlığı, Helenistik Yahudilik ve benzeri bağlamlar içinde takip edilebilir. Bu araştırmamızda Helenistik Yahudilik, onun bilinen en önemli temsilcisi İskenderiyeli Philo ve onun Hıristiyanlığın gelişimine etkisini inceleyeceğiz. Christianity is a movement which emerged from the religion of Jesus that is, Judaism. After the event of cross, followers of Jesus had diverse understandings about the aim of him. Therefore, some of them, on the one hand, limited themselves according to what they saw from Jesus and on the other hand, some of them went beyond this limit. Thus, kinds of conflicts appeared in the history of church. Origin of these controversies can be traced in different contexts such as Gnosticism, God-fearers, Jewish Christianity, Hellenistic Judaism, and etc. We will examine in this research about the Hellenistic Judaism, its most well-known representative Philo of Alexandria, and its impact on the development of Christianity.
