Safranbolu kazasının sosyo-ekonomik yapısı (1840-1841)

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivi'nde bulunan 4525 numaralı Temettüat Defteri esas alınmış ve Safranbolu kazasının 1840-1841 yıllarındaki sosyal ve ekonomik yapısı incelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Defterde bulunan hane reisleriyle ilgili kayıtlar nüfus, meslekler, tarım, hayvancılık, vergi gibi konuların verileri tablo haline dönüştürülerek yoruma uygun hale getirilmiştir. Neticede tablolar yardımıyla adı geçen kazanın idarî ve nüfus yapısı, ekonomik durumu, tarım ve hayvancılığı değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır.

This research aims to analyze socio-economic structure of Safranbolu district in the years 1840-1841 through Temettuat (profit tax) register of number 4525 which is kept in the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives. Data contained in the registerbook regarding the subjects like the taxpayers, demography, occupations, agricultural economy, stockbreeding and taxation are shown in tables and made available to interpret. Thus, administrative and demographic structure, economic conditions, agriculture and stockbreeding of the aforesaid district is, through the tables, tried to be evaluated.
