ven, Yöneticiye Güven, İş Tatmini, Lider-Üye Etkileşimi (LMX) ÖZET YÖNETCİYE GÜVENİN İŞ TATMİNİNE ETKİSİNDE LİDER-ÜYE ETKİLEŞİMİNİN ARACILIK ROLÜ: İSTANBUL VE KOCAELİ İLLERİNDE BEYAZ YAKALILAR ÜZERİNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA Bu çalışmada amaç, yöneticiye güvenin iş tatminine etkisini araştırmak ve bu etkide lider-üye etkileşiminin aracılık rolünü analiz etmektir. Bu kapsamda, İstanbul ve Kocaeli illerindeki özel sektör işletmelerinde görev yapan çalışanlar üzerinde araştırma yapılmıştır. Kolayda örneklem yoluyla seçilen 216 kişi araştırmanın örneklem grubunu oluşturmuştur. Yapılan istatistiksel analizler sonucunda, yöneticiye güven ile iş tatmini arasında, yöneticiye güven ile lider-üye etkileşimi (LMX) arasında ve lider-üye etkileşimi (LMX) ile iş tatmini arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucunda ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca yöneticiye güvenin iş tatminini etkilediği ve bu etkide lider-üye etkileşiminin (LMX) “kısmi aracı değişen” rolü olduğu sonuna varılmıştır. Elde elden sonuçlar doğrultusunda, yöneticinin sözlerinin ve davranışlarının tutarlı olması, mesleki saygınlığının olması, adil olması, kendine güvenmesi, astını önemsemesi çalışanın yöneticiye güven duymasını sağladığı ve çalışanın yöneticisine güven duyması aralarındaki etkileşimi olumlu etkileyerek iş tatminini kuvvetlendirdiği tespit edilmiştir. THE MODERATOR ROLE OF LEADER-MEMBER EXCHANGE ON THE RELATİONSHİP BETWEEN TRUST İN MANAGER AND JOB SATISFACTİON: A RESEARCH IN ISTANBUL AND KOCAELI ON WHITE COLLARS This study aims to examine the effects of the feeling of trust in the manager on job satisfaction and to analyse the mediation role of leader-member interaction in this effect. In that context, a research has been conducted on the employees working in private sector organisations in İstanbul and Kocaeli. The sample group of the research consisted of 216 people who were selected using handy sampling method. At the end of the statistical analyses, a positive and significant correlation was found between trust in the manager and job satisfaction, between trust in the manager and leader-member exchange (LMX) and between leader-member exchange (LMX) and job satisfaction. It was also concluded that trust in the manager effects job satisfaction and that leadermember exchange (LMX) has a partial mediation role in this effect. In line with the results, it was determined that coherence between what the manager says and does, as well as manager’s professional respectability, fairness, self-confidence and care for his subordinates are factors that help employees feel trust in the manager and this feeling of trust has positive effects on their relation which in turn reinforces job satisfaction.
