Müzik eğitimi anabilim dallarında gitar öğrencilerinin müziksel-işitme-okuma- yazma dersi başarılarının öğretmen ve öğrenci görüşleri açısından değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Araştırma, “Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları’nda Gitar Öğrencilerinin Müziksel-İşitme-Okuma-Yazma Dersi Başarılarının Öğretmen Ve Öğrenci Görüşleri Açısından Değerlendirilmesi” amacıyla yapılmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi retim elemanları ve öğrencilerinin, eğitim-öğretim sürecine ilişkin görüşleri saptanmıştır. Ayrıca bu görüşler Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) ve Müziksel İşitme-Okuma-Yazma derslerine ilişkin sayısal verilerin istatistiksel olarak karşılaştırılmasıyla da desteklenmiştir. Araştırmanın evrenini, Marmara Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi nda görevli ilgili öğretim elemanları ve Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersi öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Örneklem grubu, görev yapmakta olan ve Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersi veren beş (5) öğretim elemanın tümünü kapsamakta, ayrıca ulaşılabilen otuz beş (35) Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersi öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Örneklem gurubunda yer alan öğretim elemanları ve öğrencilere önceden hazırlanan iki farklı anket uygulanmış ve sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırma, 2007-2008 eğitim-öğretim yılıyla ve ulaşılabilen Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersi öğrencileri ve ilgili öğretim elemanları ile sınırlıdır. Öğretim elemanları ve öğrencilere uygulanan anketlerden elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretim elemanları ve öğrenciler, uygulanmakta olan Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersi içeriğini; haftalık ders saati açısından yeterli bulmamışlardır. Ayrıca, ders içeriğinin; çalgı tekniklerini, çalgıda yer alan temel pozisyonları, Türk ve yabancı bestecilere ait seçkin örnekleri öğretmede yetersiz kaldığı saptanmıştır. Öğretim elemanları ve öğrenciler, Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersi ve Müziksel İşitme-Okuma-Yazma derslerini ilişkilendirmiş, verdikleri yanıtlar ile Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersinin, Müziksel İşitme-Okuma-Yazma dersine ihtiyaç duyduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca Müziksel İşitme-Okuma-Yazma dersinde başarılı olan öğrencilerin, Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersinde diğer öğrencilere kıyasla daha başarılı oldukları sonucuna varılmıştır. Ulaşılan tüm veriler istatistiksel işlemlerden elde edilen sonuçlar ile kıyaslandığında doğrulanmakta ve aynı sonuçlara ulaşılmaktadır.

This study has been conducted for “the evaluation of the success of the guitar students at the Musical Hearing, Reading and Writing lessons in the Divisions of Music Education by the related academic educators and the students.” For this aim, the opinions on the training teaching process have been taken from the academic educators and the students of Marmara University, Fine Arts Education Music Department. Also, these opinions have been supported with the statistical comparison of the numeric data of the Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) Lesson and Musical Hearing, Reading and Writing Lessons. The source group of this study consists of the related academic educators and Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) students of Marmara University, Fine Arts Education, Music Department. The sample group consists of all of the academic educators (5) teaching Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) Lesson and thirty-five Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) students that could be contacted with. Two different polls have been applied in order to take opinions of the academic educators and the students This study is limited only within 2007-2008 education year and Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) Lesson academic educators and the students that could be contacted with. According to the findings in the polls, the academic educators and the students think that the content of the Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) lesson, which is being studied, is inadequate when considered in teaching periods a week. Also, it has been found out that the content of the lesson is inadequate in teaching the instrument techniques, the basic positions on instrument and selected pieces of Turkish or foreign composers. The academic educators and the students have associated the Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) lesson with the Musical Hearing, Reading and Writing lessons; and by means of their answers to the polls, they have pointed out that the Musical Hearing, Reading and Writing lesson is necessary for the Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) lesson. Besides, it has been to come to a conclusion that the students who are successful at the Musical Hearing, Reading and Writing lessons are more succesful at the Individual Instrument Education (Guitar) lessons when compared to other students. All of the data that have been obtained are verified by the statistical results.
