Publication: ABD ile Azerbaycan ekonomik ilişkilerinin değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
Çalışmada Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ile Azerbaycan arasındaki ekonomik ilişkiler incelenmektedir. Amerika Birleşik Devletleri ile Azerbaycan’ın ilişkiler 19. yüzyıla dayanmaktadır. SSCB’nin çöküşü ile Azerbaycan bağımsızlık elde ettikten sonra her iki devlet yakın ilişkiye önem vermiştir. Bu anlamda, ABD ve Azerbaycan ekonomik, ticari, siyasi, hukuki, kültürel ve diğer alanlarda ilişkilerin gelişmesi için çalışmaktadır. Bu çalışma ile iki devlet arasındaki ilişkilerin tarihsel gelişimi ve geleceği incelenmektedir. Buna ek olarak, tez çalışmasında ABD ile Azerbaycan arasındaki ekonomik ilişkiler kurulması ve gelişimi araştırılmıştır. Özellikle, iki ülke arasındaki ticari ilişkilerin dinamikası istatistik verilerle değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırılan konular, yapılan genellemeler ve ulaşılan bilimsel sonuçlar ABD-Azerbaycan ilişkilerinin gelişme perspektifine ilişkin bazı önerilerde bulunulmasına olanak sağlamaktadır. ABD-Azerbaycan ilişkilerinin gelişmesi her iki ülkenin de çıkarınadır ve ilişkilerde mevcut sorunların giderilmesi için daha fazla çalışılması gerekmektedir. Azerbaycan’ın katıldığı enerji projelerinin desteklenmesi Amerika’nın bölgedeki siyasi çıkarlarını da güçlendirmektedir. Azerbaycan’ın bağımsızlığını kazandığı dönemden bu güne kadar olan ABD-Azerbaycan ekonomik ilişkilerinin incelenmesi, önümüzdeki yıllarda bu ilişkilerin geliştirilmesi üzerine yapılan çalışmaları artıracaktır.
The study examined the economic relations between the United States of America and Azerbaijan. Relations between the United States of America and Azerbaijan dates back to the 19th century. After Azerbaijan gained independence with the collapse of the USSR, both states paid attention to making close relations. In this sense, the USA and Azerbaijan worked to develop relations in economic, commercial, political, legal, cultural and other fields. This study examined the historical development and future of the relations between the two countries. In addition, the thesis study investigated the establishment and development of economic relations between the USA and Azerbaijan. In particular, the dynamics of commercial relations between the two countries were evaluated with statistical data. The topics researched, the generalizations made and the scientific results achieved allow some suggestions regarding the development perspective of US-Azerbaijan relations. The development of US-Azerbaijan relations is in the interest of both countries, and more work is needed to resolve the current problems in relations. Supporting energy projects in which Azerbaijan participates also strengthens USA’s political interests in the region. Examining the US-Azerbaijan economic relations as of the period when Azerbaijan gained its independence until today will increase the studies on the development of these relations in the future.
