Altın emanet hesapları: finansal sistem için yeni bir finansal ürün önerisi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada altın emanet hesabı adı altında yeni bir finansal ürün önerilmektedir. Bu ürün sayesinde finansal sistemin dışında atıl olarak tutulan tasarrufların finansal sisteme kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır. Altın emanet hesapları temelinde önerilen süreçte ilgili tüm tarafların çıkarına olacağı düşünülen bir yapı oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu yapı ile tasarruf sahiplerine birikimlerini bozdurmadan düşük faiz ile kredi alma imkanı sağlanması ve finans kurumlarına geri ödenmeme riski düşük kredi verilmesi ve emanet aldıkları altınlara dayalı olarak menkul kıymet ihraç etmeleri sayesinde ek fon sağlamaları planlanmıştır. Bu yapının, ülke ekonomisinin ihtiyacı olan sermaye gereksinimini karşılanmasına yardımcı olacağına inanılmaktadır.

In this paper a new financial instrument under the name of gold deposited account is proposed. With this financial product, it is aimed to employ households’ savings which are kept idle out of the financial system. It is aimed to design a process based on gold deposited securities which all the parties involved are benefited. This structure will enable savers to get lower credit rates by their jewelry savings without exchanging them; financial institutions to lower credit default risk and to create extra funds. Finally, this structure will accelerate the national capital accumulation which is crucial for the sustainable economic growth of the country.
