Bir muhalefet dili olarak gezi parkı protestolarının söylemi

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında yeni toplumsal hareketlerin liberal temsili demokrasi modelinin kamusal alan ve siyasal iletişim bakımından yol açtığı sorunları aşma potansiyeli taşıdığı iddiasından hareketle Gezi Parkı eylemleri esnasında duvar yazıları, döviz ve pankartlarda ortaya çıkan sözler, dili iktidar ilişkilerinin gözlenebildiği bir alan noktasından ele alan söylem analizinin yardımıyla incelenmiştir. Dilde anlam mücadelesi, gizli senaryo, karnaval, mizah, sokratik diyalog ve diyalog ile retorik kavramları etrafında oluşturulan kuramlar ışığında yeni toplumsal hareketler kategorisi içine dahil edilen Gezi Parkı eylemlerinde eylemcilerin sözlerinin iktidar ilişkilerini dönüştürme becerisindeki imkan ve sınırlıklar ortaya konulmuştur. In this thesis study, graffiti, currency and words on the posters during Gezi Park protests have been discussed with the help of discourse analysis that examines the language from a point where power relations can be observed based on the claim that new social movements have a potential to overcome the problems caused by the liberal representative democracy model in terms of public space and political communication. Possibilities and restrictions in the ability of the words of the activists to change the power relations in Gezi Park protests included in the new social movements category in the light of meaning warfare in language, secret scenario, carnival, humor, socratic dialogue and dialogue with the theories created around the rhetoric concepts have been put forth.
