Türkiye'de eğitimin ekonomik boyutu

Abstract

Teknolojik ve bilimsel gelişmelerin ekonomik kalkınmayı hızlandırması ile ekonomik kalkınma süreçlerinde eğitilmiş nitelikli emek gücüne daha fazla ihtiyaç duyulmuştur. Bu ihtiyaç eğitim sistemlerini ekonomik kalkınmayı sağlayacak biçimde dönüştürülmesine neden olmuştur. Eğitim-kalkınma ilişkisinin ön plana çıkması ile kalkınma politikalarının eğitim alanında da hızla uygulanması gerektiği vurgulanmıştır. 1970’lerden itibaren neo-liberal kalkınma politikaları tüm dünyada hızla yaygınlaşmış, Türkiye 1980’lerden itibaren hızla neo-liberal politikaları uygulamaya koymuştur. Eğitim süreçlerinde bu politikalar uygulanarak eğitim alanı serbest piyasa mantığıyla uyumlu hale getirilmiştir. Bu çalışma Türkiye’nin uyguladığı neo-liberal kalkınma politikalarının eğitimin düşünsel ve sistemsel anlamda nasıl değişiklikler yaşadığını eğitim-kalkınma ve neo-liberal politikalar bağlamında incelemektedir.

The technological and scientific developments with accelerate economic development, more need for trained skilled labor in economic development processes. This need has caused the transformation of education systems in a way to ensure economic development. It is emphasized that development policies should be praxised in the field of education with the prominence of the relationship between education and development. Since 1970s, neo-liberal developments have spreed rapidly throughout the world. Turkey has been praxising rapidly the neo-liberal policies since the 1980s. These policies were praxised in the education processes and the field of education was aligned with the free market locig. This study examined how changes in intellectual and systemic sense in the context of education and experience that the neo-liberal policies on the development and training of the neo-liberal development policies praxised in Turkey.
