Futbolda takım birlikteliği ve liderin takım birlikteliği üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye Profesyonel Futbol Liglerinde yer alan takımlarda oynayan futbolcuların, takım birlikteliği ve liderin takım birlikteliği üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Günümüzde önemi giderek artan birliktelik kavramını netleştirmek ve takım birliktelik düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ile lider pozisyonunda yer alan antrenörlerin takım birlikteliği üzerindeki etkilerinin incelenmesi ve elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda önerilerde bulunmak araştırmamız için önem taşımaktadır. Araştırmaya, 2006-2007 futbol sezonunda, Türkcell Süper Lig, Lig A ve Lig B’ de yer alan 13 takım ve bu takımlarda oynayan 231 sporcu katılmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak, “bireysel çekicilik-görev”, “bireysel çekiciliksosyal”, “grup bütünlüğü-görev”, “grup bütünlüğü-sosyal” alt boyutlarından oluşan Takım Birlikteliği Anketi ile “antrenman ve eğitim”, “sosyal destek davranışı”, “pozitif geribildirim”, “demokratik davranış”, “otokratik davranış” alt boyutlarından oluşan Liderlik Davranışı Ölçüm Anketi kullanılmıştır. Likert ölçeğine göre oluşturulmuş olan her iki anketten elde edilen veriler SPSS 15.0 paket kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; takım birlikteliği “grup bütünlüğü-görev” alt boyutunun yüksek, diğer alt boyutların ise düşük olduğu, liderlik davranışlarına bakıldığında ise, araştırmaya katılan takımlarımızın, antrenman ve eğitimine önem veren, onlara sosyal destek sağlayan, başarılarını takdir eden ve daha demokratik yönde davranış gösteren antrenörlere sahip oldukları görülmüştür. Ayrıca Türkcell Süper Lig takım antrenörlerinin daha demokratik davranış sergiledikleri ve Lig B takımlarına doğru bu davranışın azaldığı görülmüştür. Takım birlikteliği alt boyutlarının birbirleri arasındaki ilişkiler ise çok fazla olmamakla birlikte, liderlik davranışları alt boyutları arasındaki ilişkilerin daha fazla olduğu, güçlü liderlik davranışının takım birlikteliği “grup bütünlüğü-görev” ve “grup bütünlüğü-sosyal” anlayışları üzerinde etkili olduğu, liderin takımdaki oyuncuları grup olarak daha fazla etkilediği görülmüştür. THE ANALYSIS OF THE TEAM COHESION IN SOCCER AND THE ANALYSIS OF THE LEADER’S EFFECT ON THE TEAM COHESION The aim of this research is to examine the “team cohesion” of footballers who play in the Turkish Professional Soccer League and to examine the effect of the leader on the team cohesion. To clear the gradually increase in importance of the cohesion concept and to examine the levels of the team cohesion, and to determine the effects of the trainers, who take part as the leadership position, on the team cohesion and to make suggestions in accordance with the consequences found are important for our research.13 soccer teams while take place in Turkcell Super League, League A and League B and 250 footballers, who play in these Leagues, in 2006-2007 seasons, have participated in this research. In the research as a data collection tool, Team Cohesion Survey was used. This survey which is formed as the low levels of “individual attractiveness- duty”, “individual attractiveness- social”, “group integrity-duty” and “group integrity-social”, and Leadership Measure Survey which focus on the low levels of “training and education”, “social support behaviour”, “positive feedback”, “democratic behaviour” and “autocratic behaviour” have been used. The data, which has been obtained from the both surveys based on Likert Measure, has been analyzed by using SPSS 15.0 package program. According to the research results, the low level of team cohesion “group integrity-duty” is high and the other low levels were seen as below level; and when we look at the leadership behaviours, the teams participated in this research, had trainers who gave importance to training and education, who provided social support and appreciated their successes and who behaved in a more democratic way. Moreover, Turkcell Super League team trainers showed more democratic behaviours and it is seen that the democratic behaviour was seen less in League B teams. The relations between the low levels of team cohesion were not on high level and the relationship between the low levels of leadership behaviours were strong also. The strong leadership behaviours were effective on the team cohesion “group integrity-duty” and “group integrity-social” and that the leader affects the players as a group in team situation more than expected.
