Mantıkçı pozitivizmde metafizik önermeler ve eleştiri

Abstract

Mantıkçı Pozitivizm ya da yeni pozitivizm adıyla bilinen, dönemi içerisinde önemli ve etkili bir felsefe akımı olma özelliğini kazanan bu düşünce biçimi dönemindeki etkisini yitirmekle birlikte, bilim ve felsefenin birçok sorununa getirdiği çözüm önerileriyle dikkat çekmeye devam etmektedir. Mantıkçı pozitivizmin düşünürleri kimi konularda birbirinden farklı görüşleri savunmakla beraber temelde, dilsel çözümleme yöntemi, doğrulanabilirlik ilkesi, bilimin birliği düşüncesi, tümevarımsal mantığa vurgusu, akılcılığı ve deneyciliği hususunda bu hareketin ayırt edici kurucu özelliklerini paylaşmaktadırlar. Modern felsefe dünyasında oldukça yaygınlaşan çok yönlü bir ilgi kazanan mantıkçı pozitivizm, bu ilgiyi bir karşı felsefe geliştirme çabasına borçludur. Birbirinden farklı eğilimleri içinde barındıran bu karşı felsefe etkinliğinin belirgin çizgisi, metafizik karşısındaki elemeci ve reddedici tutumudur. The form of thought which is called Logical Positivism or New Positivism was once an important philosophical current with much popularity. Although it has lost its prominent position among philosophers and intellectuals, it still has influence over them through the solutions worked out by affiliates of this current to various questions in science and philosophy. Although philosophers affiliated with logical positivism have divergent positions on various issues, they share some fundamental principles such as the method of linguistic analysis, the principle of verification, the idea of the unity of science, emphasis on inductive method, rationalism and empiricism. In contemporary philosophical circles logical positivism has taken the attention of philosophers in various respects. It owes such a multi-dimensional attention to its attempt to develop an opposite philosophy. The most prominent feature of this opposite philosophy, which brings together various divergent philosophical tendencies, is its attitude of elimination and rejection vis á vis metaphysics.
