Ma’ zeret- name: Şeyh Eşref B. Ahmed

Abstract

Ma'zeret-nÉme XIV. yüzyıl sonu XV. yüzyıl başlarında Şeyh Eşref b. Ahmed tarafından yazılmış dinî-ahlakî öğütler veren bir mesnevidir. Eser 372 beyitten oluşur ve aruzun FÉ i lÉ tün FÉ i lÉ tün FÉ i lün vezniyle yazılmıştır. Yazıldığı tarih ve şair hakkında bilgi bulunmamaktadır. Eski Anadolu Türkçesi dil ve imlÉ özelliklerini bünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Anadolu Türk Edebiyatı sahasında yazılan dinî mesnevilerin ilk örneklerindendir. Okuyucuya bilgi vermek ve onu eğitmek amacıyla yazılmıştır. Mesnevinin metni iki nüshaya dayanılarak tesis edilmiştir. Bu nüshalardan birincisi M. Fuat Köprülü'den Yapı Kredi Bankası'na intikal eden nüsha, diğeri ise Milli Kütüphane'de kayıtlı bulunan nüshadır. Çalışmamızda Yapı Kredi nüshası asıl nüsha olarak kabul edilmiştir. Eserde Allah'ın sıfatları, dinî inanışlar ve ahiret hazırlığı, nefsin mertebeleri, peygamber kıssaları, insanoğlunun yaratılışı çeşitli söz sanatları kullanılarak anlatılmıştır.

The Ma'zeret-nÉme of poet Sheikh b. Ahmed is a mesnevi that gives religious and moral advices. It is written between the end of XIV. century and beginning of XV. century. The mesnevi consists of 372 coyolet and it is written with the meter of FÉ i lÉ tün FÉ i lÉ tün FÉ i lün of Aruz. There is no certain information about Sheikh b. Ahmed and when he wrote the Ma'zeret-nÉme. The mesnevi has the characteristics of old Anatolian Turkish language and orthography. It is one of the religious mesnevi of Anatolioan Turkish Literature. It is written to give information and advices to the reader. Our study was based on two copies of the mesnevi. First of them is found among the manuscripts that was inherited from M. Fuat Köprülü to the Yapı Kredi Bank. The other copy is recorded in the Milli Kütüphane. We took the first copy as the main copy of our study. In the mesnevi, attributes of Allah, religious beliefs, the other world, prophet stories and the creation of human being.
