Yeni teknolojiler çerçevesinde habercilikte istihbaratın işlevi

Abstract

YENİ TEKNOLOJİLER ÇERÇEVESİNDE HABERCİLİKTE İSTİHBARATIN İŞLEVİ Son yıllarda yeni teknolojilerin medya da da kullanımı yaygınlık kazanmıştır. Bu süreç, habercilliğin temelini oluşturan istihbarat sürecini de etkilemiştir. Haber kaynaklarına ulaşmada yeni teknolojiler kolaylık sağlarken, haber kaynaklarının çeşitlenmesi, farklı haber kaynaklarından bilgi/ veri edinilmesi gündeme gelmiştir. Ancak teknolojik gelişmelerin yarattığı sonuçlardan biri de haber örgütlenmesinin bu süreçte küçülmesidir. Bu durum sonucunda daha nitelikli ve alanında uzman muhabirlere istihbarat açısından ihtiyaç duyulmaktadır. Muhabirler hem istihbarat yapıp hem de haberi baştan sona oluşturacak (kameramanlık, montajcılık) deneyimi kazanmak durumunda kalmaktadırlar. Geleneksel medya da yeni teknolojik koşullardan etkilenmektedir. Haberin üretilmesinde, haberin içeriğinde yer alacak bilgi/ verinin toplanmasında yeni teknolojilerden yararlanılmaktadır. Yeni teknolojiler erişimde kolaylık sağlarken elde ulaşılan bilgi/ verilerin güvenilirliği önemli bir sorun olmaktadır.

THE FUNCTION OF INFORMATION GATHERING IN JOURNALISM IN THE FRAME OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES New technologies have been acquired widespread usage in media in recent years. This period has affected the process of the information gathering which forms the foundation of journalism. While new technologies provide conveniences on reaching the sources of news, the variety of news sources has arranged obtaining knowledge/ data from different news sources. However, one of the consequences of technology developement is the organizational decrease of news throughout this process. As a matter of fact, more qualified and professional journalists are required in news gathering areas. Journalists are demanded to have news gathering skills and gain the experience of forming the news (using camera, editing) from beginning to the end. Traditional media is also affected by new technological conditions. New technologies are utilized in producing the news and gathering knowledge/ data that will be used in the news contents. Although new technologies enable easy access, the reliability of gained knowledge/ data constitutes a huge problem
