Mahmud Bin Mustafa Bin Celal’in Gencine-i Leta’if adlı eseri (metin-inceleme)

Abstract

Mahmud bin Mustafa bin Celal XVI. asırda yaşamış dîvân edebiyatı müelliflerimizdendir. “Koca Nişancı” lakaplı Celalzâde Mustafa Çelebi’nin oğlu olan müellifin hayatı hakkında eldeki bilgiler çok kısıtlıdır. Yazarın Gencîne-i Letâ’if’adlı bir eseri günümüze kadar ulaşmıştır. Gencîne-i Letâ’if’te müellif dînî, ahlâkî ve tasavvufî mahiyetteki düşüncelerini küçük müstakil hikâyeler ve bu hikâyeleri takip eden açıklayıcı makaleler şeklinde vermektedir. Nazım ve nesir karışık olan eserde 13 hikâye ve bunlarla bağlantılı 13 makale bulunmaktadır. Müellif eserini 982/ 1574’te tamamlamış olup dönemin sultanı olan III. Murad’a sunmuştur

Mahmud bin Mustafa bin Celal is one of the dîvân literature authors who lived in the 16th century. The information regarding the life of the author, who is the son of Celalzâde Mustafa Çelebi known as “Koca Nişancı”, is very limited. Author’s work named Gencîne-i Letâ’if has reached until present day. In Gencîne-i Letâ’if, the writer gives his religious, moral and mystic beliefs in the form of short stories and explanatory essays. The work written in verse and prose is made of 13 interconnected stories and essays. His work was completed in 982/ 1574 and it was presented to the sultan of the term, III. Murad.
