Tâibî ve Gencîne-i Esrâr Adlı mesnevisi

Abstract

Çalışmamıza konu olan Gencîne-i Esrâr adlı eser XVII. yüzyıl Osmanlı mesnevi edebiyâtının karakteristik özelliklerini taşıyan manzum bir nasihatnâmedir. İslamî ahlâk anlayışının ekseninde okuyucusuna kulluk, ibâdet ve hayat hakkında öğütler veren eser dinî-ahlâkî muhtevâsı ile dikkat çeker.Tâibî’nin Gencîne-i Esrâr adlı mesnevisinin yegâne nüshası Türk Dil Kurumu Kütüphânesi Yazma ve Nadir Eserler Bölümünde yer almaktadır. Bu nüshadan hareketle hazırlanan tezin giriş bölümünde Türk İslâm edebiyâtında nasihatnâmelerin yeri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Birinci bölümde şâirin hayatı ve eserleri ele alınmış ve eserin tetkiki yapılarak genel özellikleri, yazılış sebebi, muhtevâsı, bölümleri, şâirin etkilendiği eserler ve nüsha tavsifi ortaya konmuştur. İkinci bölümde metin yazımında takip edilen usûl izah edilmiş ve transkripsiyonlu metin sunulmuştur.

The subject of our study called Gencine-i Esrar is a verse nasihatname which has characteristic of Ottoman mathnawi in XVII. century. In axis of Islamic ethics, it gives advices to reader about worship, ethic, life, and stands out by its religious-ethical content.The only copy of Taibi’s Gencine-i Esrar is in the Turkish Language Association Library Manuscripts and Rare Books Section. In the introduction part of the thesis based on this copy, information was given about the place of the preaching in Turkish Islamic literature. In the first chapter, the life and works of the poet were examined and general characteristics of work, reasoning, content, chapters, other works inspired to poet were analyzed by surveying the text. In the second chapter, the method followed in writing the text was explained and transcribed text was presented.
