Publication: Yeni nesil yapımcılar ve proje destek platformu tecrübeleri
Abstract
Bu çalışma, Türkiye’deki film destekleme platformlarından Köprüde Buluşmalar ve Antalya Film Forum’u odağa alarak, pitching ve destek platformlarının projelerin gelişimi, yapım süreçleri ve sektör üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektedir. Film sektöründen yönetmen ve yapımcıların deneyimlerini paylaştıkları yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmelerle bir belgesel film üretilmiştir. Köprüde Buluşmalar ve Antalya Film Forum en köklü platformlar olarak çalışmanın odağına alınmış; bu platformlarda tecrübeleri olan sinemacılar arasından yirmi dört kişiyle çekimler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sözü edilen katkıların ve sektördeki karşılığının sunulması amacıyla platform verileri incelenmiş; literatür ve haber taramaları yapılarak desteklenmiştir. Görüşmelerde, bu oluşumların, ağ oluşturma, projelerin yapım öncesi ve sonrası süreçlerindeki görünürlükleri, ortak yapımcı ve yapım finansmanı bulma çalışmaları için katkı sağladıkları ifade edilmiştir. Bu platformların özellikle yeni sinemacılar ve yapımcılar için bir eğitim fırsatı olduğu, projelerini daha iyi ifade etmeleri için rehberlik ettiği de vurgulanmaktadır. Sektörden katılımcıların ortaklaştığı nokta, film yapımcılarının proje geliştirme aşamasından itibaren desteklenmesinin önemidir. Yapımcıların film geliştirme aşamasında, doğru kararlar alabilmeleri için projeye uygun ekiplerle yola çıkmaları ve yaratıcı katkılar alabilmeleri gereklidir. Sinema sektörünün güçlenmesi, bağımsız yapımcıların da güçlenmesiyle mümkündür. Günümüzde destek mekanizmalarının yapısal değişimlere, sinemacıları bir araya getiren platformların ise daha kalıcı programlara, artırılmış finansmana ve alternatif yapılara gereksinimi vardır.
This study focuses on two prominent film support platforms in Türkiye -Köprüde Buluşmalar and Antalya Film Forum- examining how pitching and support platforms influence project development, production, and the film industry. A documentary was produced based on semi-structured interviews with directors and producers who shared their experiences. As two of the most established platforms, Köprüde Buluşmalar and Antalya Film Forum form the core of this research. Filming was conducted with twenty four professionals experienced with these platforms. To contextualize their contributions and impact, platform data was analyzed and supported by literature and media reviews. Interviews revealed that these platforms facilitate networking, enhance project visibility during pre-production and post-production, and support co-producer and financing opportunities. They also provide educational value, especially for emerging filmmakers and producers, helping them present their projects more effectively. Participants agreed on the importance of supporting producers from early project stages. Collaborating with suitable teams and receiving creative input helps producers make informed decisions. Strengthening the cinema industry depends on empowering independent producers. Today, support mechanisms require structural reforms, while platforms need sustainable programs, increased funding, and alternative frameworks.
