İlköğretim 6.,7. ve 8. Sınıf Öğrencilerinde Osmanlı Algısı

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim öğrencilerinin, Osmanlılar hakkındaki düşüncelerini, yaklaşımlarını öğrenmek ve Sosyal Bilgiler dersinin, zihinlerindeki Osmanlı algısının oluşumunda olumlu ya da olumsuz ne kadar etkili olduğunu ortaya çıkarmaktır. Araştırmada belirtilen amacı gerçekleştirmek için tarama modeli uygulanmış, anket sonuçları bilgisayar ortamında analiz edilmiştir. Elde ettiğimiz veriler çok fazla şaşırtıcı olmamakla beraber bazı durumlarda öğrencilerin bakış açıları tahmin edilenden çok farklı olmuştur. Sorulara verilen cevaplardaki faklılıklar, sosyo-ekonomik durumun bile tarihe bakış açısını değiştirebileceğini düşündürmektedir. Öğrencilerin sosyal bilgiler dersini genel olarak Osmanlı algısı adına olumlu buldukları görülmektedir.

This research aims to learn the elementary school student’s ideas and way of thinking about the Ottoman Empire; also this research tries to reveal how much social studies class is effective negatively or positively on the perception of Ottoman Empire. In order to reach the purpose mentioned above, survey model was used and results were analyzed by the way of a computer program. Although acquired datas aren’t very surprising, some answers was very different from the other anticipated answers. Differences among the answers shows that even the socio economic situation can be effective on the perception of history. It is observed that students find the social studies class useful to understand Ottoman Empire.
