Publication: Une étude sur la compétence sociolinguistique dans l'enseignement et l'apprentissage du français langue étrangère
Abstract
Bu çalışmada, yabancı dil olarak Fransızcada toplumdilbilimsel yeterliliğin önemi ve yeri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yabancı dil öğretiminde ve öğreniminde toplumdilbilimsel yeterliliğin yeri ve önemi üzerine yayınlanmış makalelerin, doktora ve yüksek lisans tezlerinin dağılımını ve bu çalışmalarda ele alınan konuların ve içeriklerinin neler olduğunu belirlemektir. Araştırma sorularımız şunlardır : Yabancı dil olarak Fransızca öğretiminde ve öğreniminde toplumdilbilimsel yeterliliğin yeri ve önemi ile ilgili yayımlanmış makalelerin, yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinin dağılımı nedir ? Bu çalışmalarda toplumdilbilimsel yeterlilik üzerine ele alınan konular nelerdir ? Araştırmamızda veri toplama aracı olarak doküman incelemesi yapılarak nitel araştırma kullanılmıştır. 2001 ve 2021 yılları arasında Türkiye ve Fransa'da yazılmış ve internet üzerinden erişilebilir makaleleri, yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerini inceledik. Toplumdilbilimsel yeterlilik kavramı 2001 yılında yayımlanan Diller için Avrupa Ortak Başvuru Metni'nde ilk kez yer aldığından ve bu kavram yabancı dil olarak Fransızcanın öğretiminde ve öğreniminde kullanılmaya başlandığından, 2001 yılını başlangıç yılı olarak belirlemeye karar verdik. Yaptığımız incelemelerden sonra araştırmamızın başında varsaydığımız iki hipotezi de doğruladık. Veri toplama aracının yeterli olduğu ve belirlenen konu ve sınıflandırma ölçütlerinin araştırmanın amacını yansıttığını gözlemledik. Öte yandan, yabancı dil olarak Fransızcanın öğretilmesi ve öğrenilmesi konusunda yazılmış çalışmaların çoğunlukla varyasyonist toplumdilbilime dayanarak yazıldığını doğruladık.
In this work, the importance and place of sociolinguistic competence in French as a Foreign Language (FFL) is examined. The aim of this study was to determine the distribution of published articles, master's thesis and pHd thesis on the place and importance of sociolinguistic competence in the teaching and learning of FFL and to clarify the topics addressed in the cited works on sociolinguistic competence in FFL. Our research questions are as follows: What is the distribution of published articles, master's thesis and pHd thesis on the place and importance of sociolinguistic competence in the teaching and learning of French as a foreign language? What are the topics addressed in the above-cited works on sociolinguistic competence in French as a Foreign Language? In our research, we conducted qualitative research using literature review as a data collection tool. We analyzed accessible articles written between 2001 and 2021 in Turkey and France on the Internet. These researches, which were written in French and Turkish, are about sociolinguistic competence in teaching and learning of FFL. The concept of sociolinguistic competence first appeared in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages which was published in 2001. Thus, we decided to use 2001 as the starting year because this concept has been used in the teaching and learning of French since then. From the article reviews we performed, we validated the two hypotheses proposed at the beginning of our research. We observed that the data collection tool was sufficient and that the topic and classification criteria determined reflected the objective of the research. On the other hand, we remarked that the majority of the researches were written on the place and importance of sociolinguistic competence in the teaching and learning of FFL based on variationist sociolinguistics.
