Yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde geçiş ve bağlantı ifadelerinin genel durumu

Abstract

Teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte toplumlar birbirine daha çok yakınlaşmaktadır. Günümüzde kültürleşmenin çok hızlı yaşandığı toplumlarda bu kültürleşmenin en mühim aracı dil olmaktadır. Bu noktada da yabancı dil öğretimi ön plana çıkmakta ve bütün toplumlar yabancı dil öğretimi üzerinde durmaktadır. Dünyada yabancı dil öğretiminin tarihi çok eskilere dayansa da yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretimi son yıllarda üzerinde durulan bir alan hâline gelmiştir. Yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretimi için eski zamanlarda yazılmış birkaç kitap ve sözlük haricinde geçmişte çok fazla çalışma yapılmadığı görülmektedir. Teknolojik gelişmeler doğrultusunda toplumlar arasındaki ilişkilerin artmasıyla birlikte yabancı dil olarak Türkçenin öğretimi de ehemmiyet kazanmakta ve bu alanda yapılan çalışmalar gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, alanyazına katkı sağlamak amacıyla yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan geçiş ve bağlantı ifadelerini tespit ederek, bu ifadelerin derlemdeki sıklıklarına bakıp, alanyazındaki işlevlerini ortaya koymak ve bu konuda uygulayıcılara bir çerçeve oluşturmak amaçlanmıştır.Araştırma verileri, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesiyle toplanmıştır. Araştırmacı tarafından öncelikle 2015 yılında Ankara TÖMER tarafından hazırlanan Yabancı Dil Olarak Tükçe Öğretim yılında Maarif Vakfı tarafından hazırlanan Yabancı Dil Olarak Tükçe Öğretimi yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan ders kitapları incelenmiş, bu kaynaklarda yer alan geçiş ve bağlantı ifadeleri tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen bu ifadeler ders kitaplarında yer aldığı seviyeye ve işlevlerine göre tablolaştırılmıştır. Tablo incelendiğinde program ve ders kitaplarında yer alan geçiş ve bağlantı ifadelerinin düzey atamaları ve işlevleri hususunda bir birlik olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Aynı zamanda geçiş ve bağlantı ifadelerinin ders kitaplarında nasıl ele alındığı, hangi yöntem ve tekniklerle anlatıldığı, bu konuda kitaplarda hangi tür etkinliklere yer verildiği de incelenmiştir. Bu noktada ders kitaplarının daha çok buyurucu dil bilgisi anlayışıyla hazırlandığı ve bu kitaplarda işlevsel farklılıklara değinilmediği tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın devamında programlarda ve ders kitaplarında tespit edilen 96 geçiş ve bağlantı ifadesinin TS Corpus’taki sıklıklarına bakılmıştır. Bu ifadeler TS Corpus’taki sıklıklarına göre büyükten küçüğe doğru sıralanmıştır. Sıklıklar tespit edildikten sonra geçiş ve bağlantı ifadelerinin işlevlerini belirleyebilmek için alanda yazılmış olan dil bilgisi kitaplarından yararlanılarak geçiş ve bağlantı ifadelerinin işlevleri tespit edilmiştir.

With the development of technology, societies are getting closer to each other. Today, in societies where acculturation is very fast, language is the most important tool of this acculturation. At this point, foreign language teaching comes to the front and all societies focus on foreign language teaching. Although the history of foreign language teaching in the world goes back to very old times, teaching Turkish as a foreign language has become an area of interest in recent years. For the teaching of Turkish as a foreign language, there is not much work in the past, except for a few books and dictionaries written in ancient times. With the increase in relations between societies in line with technological developments, teaching Turkish as a foreign language gains importance and studies in this field are increasing day by day. In this study, in order to contribute to the literature It is aimed to determine the transition and connection expressions used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, to examine the frequency of these expressions in the corpus, to reveal their functions in the literature, and to create a framework for practitioners in this regard.Research data was collected by document review from qualitative research methods. Primarily, the researcher examined the Turkish as a Foreign Language Curriculum prepared by Ankara TÖMER in 2015, the Turkish as a Foreign Language Curriculum prepared by the Maarif Foundation in 2019, and the textbooks used in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, and the terms of transition and connection in these sources were determined. These identified expressions are tabulated according to the level and functions in the textbooks. By examining the table, it was found that the transition and connection expressions contained in the programs and textbooks do not have unity in terms of level assignments and functions. At the same time, how transition and connection expressions are handled in textbooks, with what methods and techniques are described, and what types of activities are included in books on this subject. At this point, it was found that textbooks were prepared with a more commanding understanding of language knowledge, and functional differences were not addressed in these books. In the continuation of the research, the frequencies of 96 transitions and connection expressions found in programs and textbooks in TS Corpus were examined. These expressions are sorted from large to small according to their frequency in TS Corpus. After the frequencies were determined, the functions of the transition and connection expressions were determined using the grammar books written in the field in order to determine the functions of the transition and connection expressions.
