İlköğretim 6. ve 7. sınıflarda patel boya tekniği ve uygulamaları

Abstract

Bu tez çalışmasında, 6. ve 7. sınıflarda görsel sanatlar dersinde kullanılan pastel boya tekniği değerlendirilmiştir. Pastel boyanın tanımı ve resim sanatı tarihinde pastel boya tekniğinin gelişimi anlatılmıştır. Batı Resim Sanatı Tarihi’nden ve Türk resminden örnekler verilerek pastel boya ile yapılmış eserler incelenmiştir. 12-13 yaş dönemi çocuklarının sanatsal ve sosyal gelişim basamakları incelenerek çağdaş eğitim sistemi içinde, doğru öğretim yöntem ve tekniklerinin seçilebilmesi amaçlanmıştır. İlköğretim 6. ve 7. sınıflarda Görsel Sanatlar Dersi ncelenmiş, 12-13 yaş grubu çocuklarının sanatsal ve sosyal gelişimleri göz önünde bulundurularak pastel boya tekniğinin kullanımına dair alternatif etkinlikler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Etkinlikler sürecinde öğrenciler gözlemlenmiş, her etkinlik sonunda öğrencilere yazılı anket uygulanmış, elde edilen sonuçlar değerlendirilmiştir. Yaş dönemleri itibarı ile duyguların yoğun ve karmaşık yaşandığı ergenlik döneminde olan 6. ve 7. sınıf öğrencilerine uygulatılacak plastik sanat eğitimi programının, onları kısıtlamadan, yaratıcılıklarını arttırıcı nitelikte olması gerekmektedir. Zihinsel gelişimin, yetişkinlerin seviyesine ulaştığı ergenlikte, genç, çevreye, doğaya ve toplumsal olaylara bilinçle bakmaya başlamaktadır. Bu dönemde uygulanacak sanat eğitimi programının duyuları geliştirici nitelikte olması gerekmektedir. Pastel boyanın, okul öncesi dönemlerden beri en fazla kullanılan teknik olduğu görülmektedir. Her öğrencinin yaratıcı gücünü geliştirmeyi hedef alan sanat eğitimi programında pastel boyanın alternatif çalışmalarına yer verilmesi, öğrencilerin sanatsal ve yaratıcı düşüncelerinin gelişimine de katkıda bulunacaktır. Değişik uygulamalar çocuğun resmini zenginleştirecek ve kullandığı teknik ve hayal gücü de aynı oranda artacaktır. Bu süreçte sanat eğitimcilerine önemli sorumluluklar düşmektedir. Çok yönlü uygulama süreçleri ile öğrencilere sanatsal deneyimler kazandırılarak duyarlılığın geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Uygulamalarda hedeflenen başarıya ulaşılması için, eğitimcinin öğrenciye gerekli bilgileri vermesi ve öğrencinin aktif olarak etkinliklere katılmasını sağlaması gerekmektedir. Bu tez çalışması, pastel boya tekniğini kullanarak farklı uygulamalar gerçekleştirilmiş olan etkinlikler ile, eğitimci için de bir rehber olabilmesi çabasıyla hazırlanmıştır.

In this thesis, the pastel painting technique has been evaluated in visual arts class for 6th and 7th grades. The definition of pastel painting and the evolution of pastel painting technique in the history of painting have been presented. Works of art by pastel painting has been reviewed via examples from the history of Western painting and Turkish painting. It has been aimed to choose the correct education methods and techniques in the context of contemporary education system by exploring the steps of artistic and social development for kids of 12 to 13 years of age. By reviewing the visual arts class curriculum for the 6th and 7th grades, alternative exercises have been carried out while paying attention to the artistic and social development of children who are 12 to 13 years old. During these exercises, students have been observed and surveyed. Then, the results have been evaluated. The plastic arts training for the 6th and 7th grades, who experience intense and complicated emotions being adolescents, has to improve creativity without being provocative. The adolescent starts to view his/ her environment, the nature and social events with increased consciousness due to his/ her improved mental development, which becomes comparable to that of an adult. The arts training for this age group has to be able to improve senses. It is observed that pastel painting is the most commonly used technique since kindergarten education. Incorporation of alternative pastel painting exercises in art training programs aiming to enhance the creativity of students will also contribute to the evolution of artistic and creative thoughts. Alternative exercises will enhance the kid's painting abilities as well as improving his/ her technique and imagination. In this process, art trainers have important responsibilities. It is necessary to improve the sensibility of students by increasing their artistic experience via multi-tasking exercises. In order to achieve the targeted results, the trainer has to provide the students with necessary information and students have to actively participate in these exercises. This study has also been prepared as a guide for art trainers to provide alternative exercises with pastel technique.
