Hacı Ali Efendi tarih yazıcılığının zirvesi kabul edilen 17. yüzyılda yaşamış tarihçilerdendir. Kendisi devletin çeşitli kademelerinde memur olarak çalışmış, bu arada tarihçiliği ile de ön plana çıkmış bir zattır. Bu çalışmada onun en önemli eserlerinden birisi olan Târih-i Kamaniçe adlı eseri yeni harflerimize çevrilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmamız üç bölümden oluşmuştur. Birinci bölümde; elimizde bulunan tek Târih-i Kamaniçe nüshasının yazarı olan Hacı Ali Efendi'nin hayatı ve eserleri her yönüyle ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. İkinci bölümde; eserin yazıldığı dönemin tarihi durumu ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmış, Lehistan Seferi, sebebi ve sonuçları ile açıklanmak istenmiştir. İkinci olarak ta metnimize esas olan Târih-i Kamaniçe adlı eseri tanıtmaya yönelik bilgiler verilmiştir. Bu bölümde Kamaniçe Fethini konu alan diğer eserler hakkında da bilgi verilerek, aralarında mukayese yapma imkanı sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde ise Târih-i Kamaniçe adlı eserin metni ele alınmış, müellifin yaptığı gibi önce menzil-nâme bölümüne, ardından da metnin dilimize çevrilmesine yer verilmiştir. Sonuç başlığı altında da Ali Efendi ve Eseri hakkında genel bir değerlendirme yapılmış; Ekler bölümüne eserin daha iyi anlaşılmasına yardımcı olacak şekilde, döneme ait harita ve şekiller ilave edilerek çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Meanwhile he was in the important place with his history knowledge. In this study, his one of the most important book of Târih-i Kamaniçe was studied to change into new alphabet. This study consists of three stages. At first stage, the life and the studies of Hacı Ali was tried to deal with in many respects, who is the writer of the Târih-i Kamaniçe. At second stage, historical condition of the writing time of this book was tried to find, Lehistan Expedition was wanted to explain with its results and reasans. Secondly, some information was given for Târih-i Kamaniçe which is our main subject in this text. Târih-i Kamaniçe was compared with the same subjects of the other studies. At third stage, the text of the Târih-i Kamaniçe was dealt with. And then the section of menzil-name and main part were put to translate in to our language as the writer did. As a result, Hacı Ali and his studies were explained in general. The study was completed with the maps and the shopes belong to this period to understand it better then before.
