Abstract
Anadolu'nun İslamlaşması konusu uzun yıllardır, yurt içi ve yurt dışında pek çok akademisyenin merak ettiği ve ilgi duyduğu bir konudur. Bu ilginin ve merakın sonucunda da pek çok farklı görüş ve araştırma ortaya konmuştur ve konmaya devam etmektedir. Bu konu ile ilgili görüşler sadece tarih camiasından değil, farklı alanlardan da ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır. Anadolu'nun İslamlaşması konusu başlı başına anlaşılması çok zor ve karmaşık bir konu olmasından dolayıdır ki, bu konu ile ilgili ileri sürülen görüşleri bir sistem içerisinde anlamak çok zordur. Bu araştırmanın amacı, 1918 ve 1990 tarihleri arasında akademide, Anadolu'nun İslamlaşmasına dair ortya konan görüşleri inceleyip bir bütünlük içinde sunmaktır. Akademisyenlerin araştırmaları sürecinde kendilerine ait olan hangi görüşlerde farklılığa gittiklerini, farklı akademisyenlerin kendilerinden önceki görüşlerin bazılarını kabul ederken bazı görüşleri neden reddettikleri gerekçeleriyle ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır. Araştırmamızın kapsamı 11. ve 15. yy. tarihleri arasında Anadolu'nun İslamlaşmasına dair yazılan görüşleri kapsayacaktır. Alanla ilgili sadece tarih camiasında araştırmalar olmadığı için, araştırma kapsamı içerisinde tarihçilerin yanı sıra farklı bilim dallarından katkı yapan akademisyenlerde alınacaktır. Bu araştırmanın sonucunda Anadolu'nun İslamlaşmasına dair ilerisürülen görüşlerin bir çatı altında toplanmış olacak olması ve süreç içerisinde görüşlerdeki farklılıkların bütünlük içerisinde ortaya konmasının konunun daha iyi anlaşılmasına yardımcı olacağı görüşündeyiz. Araştırma konumuz ile ilgili ilk akla gelen ve temel olan kişi Mehmet Fuat Köprülü'dür. Kendisinden sonraki görüşlere önemli katkıları olmakla birlikte bu alanla ilgili Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı ve Ahmet Yaşar Ocak gibi çok önemli isimler bu alana katkıda bulunmuştur. Anadolu'nun İslamlaşması konusunda araştırma yapanlar arasında, Osman Turan, İbrahim Kafesoğlu, Hilmi Ziya Ülken gibi isimleri de başlıca sayabiliriz. Bu akademisyenlerin çalışmaları ele alınırken temel olarak incelenecek hususlar şunlardır; Anadolu'nun İslamlaşması süreci, Orta Asya ile Anadolu arasındaki bağlantının ele alınış şekli ve Anadolu'da sufi grupların ortaya çıkışı, birbirleriyle ilişkileri ve etkin röllerinin ele alanış şekilleri olacaktır. Herşeyden önemlisi bu konuya dair akademisyenlerin görüşlerinin bir sistem içinde ortaya konmasıdır.
The issue of Islamization of Anatolia is a subject that many academics at home and abroad have been curious about and interested in for many years. As a result of this interest and curiosity, many different opinions and research have emerged. These studies are ongoing. Opinions on this subject have not been put forward only by historians. It is also being researched by different scientific fields. The Islamization of Anatolia is a very difficult and complex issue in itself. That is why it is very difficult to understand this issue within a system. The aim of this research is to examine academic views on this subject between 1918 and 1990. The main goal is to reveal these views in integrity. During the research process of academics, their differences in their views will be revealed. It will be stated which views different academics accept and which they reject and why. The reasons will be revealed. The scope of our research is the 11th and 15th centuries. It will discuss the views put forward regarding the Islamization of Anatolia. Since historians are not the only ones working on the field, it will be examined in studies conducted in different fields. We believe that as a result of this research, gathering the views on the Islamization of Anatolia under one roof and revealing the differences in the process will help us understand the subject better. The first name that comes to mind regarding our research is Mehmet Fuat Köprülü. He made important contributions to the views that came after him. Abdülbaki Gölpınarlı and Ahmet Yaşar Ocak made very important contributions to this field. We can count names such as, Osman Turan, İbrahim Kafesoğlu, Hilmi Ziya Ülken among those who conducted research on the Islamization of Anatolia. When discussing the works of these academics, the main issues to be examined are as follows; the Islamization of Anatolia, the way the connection between Central Asia and Anatolia is handled, and discussing the emergence of sect groups in Anatolia and their connections with each other. Most importantly, the views of academics on this subject are presented in a system.
