Abstract
ÜNİVERSİTE SEÇİMİNDE ÖĞRENCİ YÖNELİMLERİNİ ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLER Bu araştırmada “Üniversite Seçiminde Öğrenci Yönelimlerini Etkileyen Faktörler” başlığı altında üniversitede okuyan öğrencileri, üniversitelere girerken gerek üniversite seçiminde gerek bölüm seçiminde etkileyen faktörleri incelemiştir. Araştırma; giriş ve problem durumu, meslek ve mesleki rehberlik, Türkiye’deki mesleki eğitimin genel yapısı, karşılaştırmalı eğitim, yöntem, bulgular ve yorumlar, sonuç ve öneriler olmak üzere altı bölümden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2006-2007 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Göztepe Kampüsündeki dört fakültenin ( TEF, AEF, FEF, MÜH) birinci ve ikinci sınıfında okuyan öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma örneklemi bu genel evren içinde tesadüfî örneklem yolu ile tespit edilen birinci ve ikinci sınıf öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. 618’i bay, 399’u bayan olmak üzere 1017 kişiye ulaşılmıştır. Araştırmamızda öğrencilerin görüşlerini almak üzere kişisel veri anketi kullanılmıştır. Kişisel veri anketi vasıtasıyla elde edilen veriler amaçlara uygun olarak frekans (f), yüzde (%), aritmetik ortalama ( ), standart sapma (ss) ve t testi kullanılarak
THE FACTORS THAT AFFECT STUDENTS’ UNIVERSITY PREFERENCES In this research, it is aimed to analyse the factors that affect the students’ tendencies when they make university and department preferences. The study consists of six parts: introduction, career and career guidance, the general structure of the vocational and technical education system in Turkey, comparative education, methods employed, results and evaluation, conclusion and recommendation. A survey was conducted on 1017 students attending first and second classes of four faculties (Faculty of Technical Education, Ataturk Faculty of Education, Faculty of Art and Science, Faculty of Engineering) in Marmara University. Survey results were analyzed by frequency (f), percentage (%), arithmetic medium ( ), standard deviation (ss) and t-test.
