Abstract
Klasik Müzikte Polonez ve Gelişim SüreciBir ülkenin müzik sanatını öğrenmek, aynı zamanda o ülkenin tarihini, geleneklerini ve kültürünü tanımaktan geçmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Polonez formunun klasik batı müziği içerisinde edinmiş olduğu kimlik, tez içerisinde belirtilmiş olan başlıca halk dansları türlerinde olduğu gibi, doğaçlamaya açık olması, halk müziğinin form yapısı ve danslarından gelen karakteristik ritim yapısı gibi unsurlarla gözler önüne serilmiştir. Polonya’nın karakteristik beş ulusal dansı kategorisinde bulunan ve klasik batı müziğinde tanınan Krakowiak, Mazurka ve Polonez gibi dansların, ülke içerisinde ve dışarısında diğer danslarla olan bağlantıları ve ortak noktaları incelenerek anlatılmıştır.Polonya müziği ritimlerinin, dansların ortaya çıkış hikayeleri ile nasıl meydana geldikleri ve zamanla klasik batı müziği içerisinde nasıl yer aldıkları incelenmiştir. Bu tezin üçüncü bölümünde bulunan analizler ile Polonez formunun gelişim süreci, yöreselden klasik müziğe uzanan başlıca örnekler ile ele alınmıştır.

In this study, the identity of the Polonaise form in classical western music, its openness to improvisation as in the main types of folk dance mentioned in the thesis, the form structure of folk music and the characteristic rhythm structure resulting from its dances are revealed.The connections and common points of dances such as Krakowiak, Mazurka and Polonaise, which are in the categories of Poland's characteristic five national dances and known in classical western music, with other dances in the country and abroad are examined and explained.How the rhythms of Polish music came into being with the stories of the emergence of dances and how they took place in classical western music over time were examined. With the analysis in the third part of this thesis, the development process of the Polonaise form has been discussed with the main examples ranging from local to classical music.
