MU‘TEZİLÎ MÜFESSİR EBU’L-KĀSIM EL-BELHÎ’NİN KIRAATLEREYAKLAŞIMI

Abstract

İslam düşünce geleneğine bakıldığında bir âlimin sahip olduğu ilmî, tarihî,mezhebî kimlik ve aidiyetlerin, onun hem Kur’an metnine hem de bununlabağlantılı olarak kıraat ilmine olan yaklaşımını belirleyen temel parametrelerioluşturduğu görülmektedir. Dolayısıyla bir âlimin kıraatlere olan yaklaşımınıbelirlerken öncelikle onun ilmî kişiliğini, mezhebî kimliğini, tarihî aidiyetini veyaşadığı dönemin kıraat telakkisini doğru bir şekilde tespit etmek elzemdir. İşte bugerçeklerden hareketle makalede, hicrî üçüncü asrın sonuyla dördüncü asrın başıitibariyle Mu‘tezile’nin önde gelen mütekellim ve müfessirlerinden olan Arap dili,felsefe, tarih, fıkıh, kelam, hadis, tefsir gibi pek çok sahada eserler te’lif etmişbulunan, ayrıca yaşadığı dönemde “Mu‘tezile ehlinin imamı” gibi vasıflarlanitelendirilen Ebu’l-Kāsım el-Belhî’nin (ö. 319/931) kıraatlere olan yaklaşımı tespitedilmeye gayret edilecektir. Bu yapılırken de onun kıraatlere olan yaklaşımınışekillendiren bireysel, ilmî, psikolojik, tarihî ve sosyolojik zemine ve döneminde varolan kıraat telakkisine dikkat çekilecektir. Bir diğer ifadeyle bu makalede kelâma vetefsire dair görüşleriyle gerek sünnî gerekse de şiî ekollerin teşekkülünde önemlitesirleri bulunan bir âlim olarak Ebu’l-Kāsım el-Belhî’nin kıraatlere olanyaklaşımının ve kıraatleri kullanım keyfiyyetinin yapı taşları yine onun tefsirinden(tefsirine yapılan atıflardan) hareketle tespit edilmeye çalışılacaktır.

In the school of Islamic thought, a scholar’s scientific, historical and sectarian identities are main parameters to determine his approach to both the Qur’ānic revelation and its text as well as the qirā’āt. Therefore, in order to establish a scholar’s approach to the qirā’āts, it is essential to identify correctly his scientific approach, sectarian identity, historical background, the period he lived, his point of view on the qirā’āt and his thoughts about Qur’anic revelation and its text. Based on these facts, the aim of this article is to determine Abū al-Qāsim al-Balkhī (d. 319/931)’s approach to the qirā’āts, who is one of the leading orators (mutakallim) and exegetes (mufassir) between the end of third century hijri and the beginning of fourth century, known as ‘the Imam of Mu’tazila group’ in his period and has different works in many fields such as Arabic language, philosophy, history, fiqh, kalām, hadīth and tafsīr. To achieve this aim, Abū al-Qāsim al-Balkhī’s individual, scientific and psychological background which shaped his approach to the qirā’āts will be considered on one hand, and social and historical background with the views on the qirā’āts in his era on the other hand. In other words, in this article, as a scholar who has a great influence on the formation of both Sunnī and Shi’i schools with his views on kalām and tafsīr, the building blocks of Abū al-Qāsim al-Balkhī’s approach to the qirā’āts and the way how he used them will be revealed with the help of attributions to his tafsīr.
