Beyin tümörlü hastaların sosyal destek sistemleri ve benlik saygıları

Abstract

1.ÖZET Tanımlayıcı nitelikteki bu çalışma; beyin tümörlü hastaların sosyal destek (SD) sistemlerini, benlik saygılarını (BS), bunları etkileyen faktörleri ve SD ile BS arasındaki ilişkileri belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı. Araştırma örneklemini İstanbul’un Anadolu yakasında bir Eğitim Araştırma Hastanesinin Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi servisine başvuran 75 hasta oluşturdu. Veriler sosyodemografik özellikleri belirleyen soru formu, Çok Boyutlu Algılanan SD Ölçeği ve Coopersmith BS Ölçeği kullanılarak toplandı. Hastaların SD puan ortalaması 4,807±1,110, BS puan ortalaması ise 47,95 olarak bulunmuştur. Aileden algılanan sosyal destek (AASD) 18–27 yaş grubunda, hastalığını bilenlerde, daha önce bu hastalık ile ilgili ameliyat geçirmeyenlerde, ayaktan tedavi görenlerde yüksek bulundu. Arkadaştan algılanan sosyal destek (ARASD) ve SD yüksekokul mezunu olanlarda yüksek, büyükşehir belediyesine sahip illerde yaşayanlarda ise düşük bulundu. SD 18–27 yaş grubunda, hastalığını bilenlerde, daha önce ameliyat geçirmeyenlerde, hastalık süresi 12 ay ve altı olanlar ile hastanede yatarak tedavi görenlerde yüksek bulundu. Özel bir kişiden algılanan sosyal destek (ÖASD) puanı hastanede yatarak tedavi görenlerde yüksek bulundu. Eşi memur olan hastaların BS puanı düşük bulundu. Bu sonuçlara göre hastaların SD ve Benlik saygılarının, sosyodemografik özelliklerinden etkilendiği görüldü. Sonuç olarak; beyin tümörlü hastaların, hastalık sürecinde karşılaştıkları sorunlara yönelik almaları gereken bakıma ilişkin sağlık ekibine eğitim planlanması ve bulguların daha belirleyici olabilmesi için çalışmanın daha geniş örneklem grubunda yapılması önerilmektedir. SELF-ESTEEM AND SOCIAL SUPPORT SYSTEM OF THE PATIENTS WITH BRAIN TUMOR This descriptive study had done for to investigate social support (SS) system and self esteems (SE) of patients with brain tumor (BT), the effecting factors and the relation between them. 75 patients who had applied to Neurosurgery Clinic of a University Hospital on the Anatolian side of Istanbul were consisted the research’s samples. The ways for getting data are socio-demographic questionnaire, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived SS and Coopersmith SE scale. The patient’s average score of SS 4,807±1,110 and SE 47, 95 are found. The SS that provided from family; the groups at the age of 18-27, the patients who know their illness, who haven’t had any operation, who are not being treated at clinic are higher than the other groups. The SS that provided from friends and the SS are higher level at the people who are graduated from university and against it, those are lower levels the people who live in a metropolis. SS is at higher levels at the groups of the age of 18–27, the patients who know their illness, who haven’t had any operation, who has been attracted this illness 12 months and shorter, and who were being treated at clinic. The score of SS from a special person is higher levels at the patient who are being treated at clinic. The SE is at lower levels the patients whose partner is civil servant than the others. According to these results; the patient’s SS and SE has been seem that affected from the patient’s socio-demographic specialities. As a result, for planning education program for health workers of the patient’s care during disease process who have BT and doing these studies with larger numbers has been suggested for getting significant findings.
