Döviz kuru dalgalanmalarının Türkiye'nin tekstil sektörü ihracatı üzerindeki etkileri : Ekonometrik bir analiz

Abstract

Türkiye ekonomisi açısından büyük öneme sahip olan tekstil sektörü için ihracat önemli bir konuma sahiptir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'nin 2013-2023 yılları arasındaki aylık tekstil ihracatı, döviz kuru volatilitesi, enflasyon oranı ve tekstil üretim endeksi verileri kullanılarak çoklu regresyon analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, Türkiye tekstil sektöründeki döviz kuru volatilitesinin tekstil ihracatı üzerindeki etkisini, enflasyon ve üretim faktörlerini de dikkate alarak sistematik bir şekilde analiz etmektir. Tekstil sektörü ülke ekonomisinde ve ihracat gelirlerinde önemli paya sahip olup, döviz kuru, enflasyon ve üretim değişkenleri ihracatı doğrudan etkileyen faktörler arasındadır. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre, döviz kuru volatilitesi ve enflasyon artışlarının tekstil ihracatı üzerinde negatif yönde, tekstil üretim endeksi artışının ise pozitif yönde etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca üretim düzeyi değişiminin ihracata doğrudan etki ettiği saptanmıştır.

Exports have an important position for the textile sector, which is of great importance for the Turkish economy. In this study, Turkey's monthly textile exports between 2013 and 2023 are analyzed by multiple regression analysis method using exchange rate volatility, inflation rate and textile production index data. The aim of the study is to systematically analyze the impact of exchange rate volatility on textile exports in the Turkish textile sector, taking into account inflation and production factors. Textile sector has an important share in the national economy and export revenues, and exchange rate, inflation and production variables are among the factors that directly affect exports. According to the results obtained from the study, it is determined that exchange rate volatility and inflation increases have a negative effect on textile exports, while the increase in textile production index has a positive effect. It was also found that the change in the level of production has a direct effect on exports.
