Publication: Sıbtu'l-Mardînî'nin Şerhu Katri'n-nedâ adlı eseri : dirâse, mukayese ve tahkik
Abstract
Hicri 826-912 tarihleri arasında yaşayan Sıbtu’l-Mardînî; daha çok ferâiz, astronomi, hesap ve mîkat ilimlerindeki yetkinliğiyle şöhret kazanmış ve bu alanlarda günümüzde hala etkisini devam ettiren pek çok eser telif etmiştir. Bu eserlerin yanı sıra Mardînî, dönemin medreselerinde dersler vermesi hasebiyle Arap diline dair de birkaç eser kaleme almıştır. Ancak bu eserler çeşitli nedenlerden ötürü diğer alanlarda telif edilen eserlerin elde ettiği başarıya erişememiş ve günümüzde neredeyse kaybolma noktasına gelmiştir. Bu çalışma Mardînî’nin kaybolmaya yüz tutan nahvî yönünü kendisine ait muhtemelen tek nüshası kalmış Katru’n-nedâ şerhini tahkik ederek tekrardan ortaya çıkarmayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışma bir giriş ve üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında çalışmanın konusu, önemi, yöntemi ve genel literatür hakkında bilgi verildi. Birinci bölümde tabakât ve terâcim kitaplarından hareketle Sıbtu’l-Mardînî’nin hayatı, şahsiyeti ve eserleri ile ilgili mevcut olan bilgilere ulaşılmaya çalışıldı ve bunlar derlendi. İkinci bölümde Mardînî’nin Şerhu Katri’n-nedâ adlı eseri iki kısım altında incelendi. Birinci kısımda eserin telif sebebi, şerh metodu, önemi ve kaynakları gibi sorular cevaplandı. İkinci kısımda ise Mardînî’nin bu şerhi, birkaç önemli Katru’n-nedâ şerhiyle mukayese edilerek eserin Katru’n-nedâ literatüründeki yeri tespit edilmeye çalışıldı. Son olarak üçüncü bölümde nüsha ve tahkik metoduyla ilgili bazı bilgiler verildikten sonra Sıbtu’l-Mardînî’nin Şerhu Katri’n-nedâ adlı eseri tahkikli olarak sunuldu.
Sibt al-Mardīnī, who lived between 826-912 AH, became famous mostly for his competence in the sciences of ferā'iḍ, astronomy, calculation, and mīqat, and wrote many works in these fields that are still influential today. In addition to these works, Mardīnī also wrote some works on the Arabic language due to his teaching in the madrasas of the period. However, due to various reasons, these works could not achieve the success of the works written in other fields and have almost disappeared today. This study aims to re-discover Mardīnī's disappearing grammatical aspect by analyzing his commentary on Qatr al-nadā, of which only one copy remains. The study consists of an introduction and three chapters. In the introduction, the subject of the study, its importance, methodology and general literature are explained. In the first chapter, based on the books of tanāt and terājim, all available information about Sibt al-Mardīnī's life, personality, and works was tried to be accessed and compiled. In the second part, Mardīnī's Sharḥ Qatr al-nadā was analyzed in two parts. In the first part, questions such as the reason for the composition of the work, the method of commentary, its importance and sources were answered. In the second part, Mardīnī's commentary was compared with several important commentaries on Qatr al-naḍā and its place in the literature of Qatr al-nadā was determined. Finally, in the third chapter, some information about the manuscript and the method of analysis is given. Afterwards, Sibt al-Mardīnī's Sharh al-Qatr al-nadā was presented in a critical edition.
