Gazzâlî'nin Mişkâtü'l-envâr'ı : yorum yöntemi ve kaynakları

Abstract

Gazzâlî’nin Mişkâtü’l-envâr’da uyguladığı yorum yöntemini ve kaynaklarını klasik ve çağdaş birikimden hareketle incelediğimiz bu çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. İlk bölüm Mişkâtü’l-envâr üzerine yapılan detaylı bir literatür incelemesidir. Mişkâtü’l-envâr’ın isimlendirilmesindeki farklılıklar, yazım tarihinin tespiti, Gazzâlî’ye aidiyeti sorunu, yazmaları, neşirleri ve farklı dillere yapılan tercümeleri etraflıca bu bölüm içerisinde incelenecektir. “Teorik Arka Plan” başlığını taşıyan ikinci bölümde Mişkâtü’l-envâr’ın yorum yöntemi üzerinde etkileri bulunan Sünnî tasavvuf, Meşşâî felsefe ve Eş’arî kelâmına ait temel teorilerin etki bağlamları tespit edilerek yorumda uygulanış biçimleri spesifik örneklerle gösterilecektir. “Çağdaş Tartışmalar” başlıklı üçüncü bölümde ise Mişkâtü’l-envâr’ın yapısı üzerine çağdaş literatürde öne çıkan çeşitli iddialar, ontolojik ve kozmolojik temalar etrafında irdelenecek, ayrıca Gazzâlî’nin Mişkâtü’l-envâr’da Plotin’in Enneadlar’ından etkilendiğine dair tartışma detaylandırılacaktır. Özetle bu araştırma, Mişkâtü’l-envâr’da yer bulan içerikle sınırlı olarak Gazzâlî’nin yorumda benimsediği ilkeleri daha çok çağdaş yaklaşımlar ve tartışmalardan hareketle belirginleştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır.

In this study, we scrutinize the method of interpretation that is used in Mishkāt al-Anwār by al-Ghazālī and its sources, taking account of classical and modern studies around this work. Thereby, this study consists of three chapters. The first chapter is a detailed literature review around Mishkāt al-Anwār. In this literature review, diverse names that are used to indicate Mishkāt al-Anwār, the exact time period that Mishkāt al-Anwār was compiled by al-Ghazālī and the problem of authenticity around this work along with its manuscripts, modern publications and translations into different languages will be discussed thoroughly. In the second chapter, which is titled as “Theoretical Background”, the influence contexts of different theories that belong to Early Sufism, Peripatetic Philosophy and Ashʿarī Theology, which have effects on the interpretation method of Mishkāt al-Anwār, will be identified and their reflections in interpretation will be shown with specific instances. In the third chapter, namely “Contemporary Discussions”, various claims that stand out in the modern literature on the structure of Mishkāt al-Anwār will be examined around ontological and cosmological themes. In addition, the discussion about the influence of Enneads by Plotinus on Mishkāt al-Anwār will be elaborated in this chapter. All in all, this study aims to clarify the principles adopted by al-Ghazālī in interpretation of Qurʾānic verses and ḥadīths, particularly in the content of Mishkāt al-Anwār, considering modern discussions and approaches.
