Abstract
Tarihten günümüze Mısır'dan çıkış teorileri Yahudilik, Hıristiyanlık ve İslamiyet’te yer alan önemli anlatılardan biri olan Mısır’dan Çıkış kıssası, Hz. Yusuf’un ve sonrasında İsrailoğulları’nın Mısır’a gelmesiyle başlayan süreci ve sonrasında Hz. Musa önderliğinde İsrailoğulları’nın Mısır’dan çıkışları, çölde dolaşmaları ve Kenan topraklarına girmelerini ihtiva etmektedir. Özellikle 19. yüzyıldan sonra gelişme gösteren Kitab-ı Mukaddes Arkeolojisi’yle (Biblical Archeology) birlikte Mısır’dan Çıkış anlatısının tarihi bir arka plana sahip olup olmadığı sorusu gündeme gelmiştir. Bu bağlamda Mısır’dan Çıkış’ın tarihlendirilmesi uzun süredir araştırmacıları meşgul etmektedir. Konuyla ilgili birbirinden farklı pek çok teori ileri sürülmüştür. Arkeolojiyle ilişkisi sayesinde konu, yeni bulgular ışığında yeniden değerlendirilebilmekte ve bu yönüyle güncelliğini korumaktadır. Bu çalışmamızda Mısır’dan Çıkış için ileri sürülen farklı tarih ve teoriler ortaya koyularak bunların genel bir değerlendirmesi yapılacaktır.
One of the significant narratives shared by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam is the Exodus from Egypt. This account encompasses the arrival of the Israelites in Egypt following the story of Prophet Joseph, their subsequent enslavement, and their eventual departure from Egypt under the leadership of Prophet Moses, their journey through the wilderness, and their entrance into the land of Canaan. With the rise of Biblical archaeology, particularly from the 19th century onward, the question of whether the Exodus narrative has a historical basis has come to the forefront. In this context, the dating of the Exodus has long occupied researchers, and numerous theories have been proposed regarding its possible historical timeframe. Thanks to its connection with archaeology, the subject can be re-evaluated in light of new findings, which allows it to maintain its relevance across different periods. In this study, various dates and theories proposed for the Exodus will be presented and critically assessed.
