Metal eğitimi alanında mesleki teknik eğitime katılacak sokak çocuklarının eğitim seviyesinin incelenmesi

Abstract

SOKAK ÇOCUKLARININ MESLEKİ TEKNİK EĞİTİME KABULÜ İÇİN EĞİTİM SEVİYELERİNİN İNCELENMESİ Bu çalışmanın amacı sokak çocuklarının teknik eğitime kabulünden önce onların eğitim seviyelerini belirlemek üzere bir model önermektir. Sokak çocuklarının mesleki eğitim adına rehabilite edilebilmesi için onların eğitim seviyelerinin belirlenmesi gerekmektedir. Sanayi gücüne katılmak üzere mesleki teknik eğitimden geçirilen bir sokak çocuğu için onu hazırlayıcı bir programın geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Atölyenin ilk iki yılı süresince bu öğrencilerin davranışları gözlemlenmiştir. Gözlemlerin sonucu, çocuğun sanayide istihdam edilip edilemeyeceğini belirlemektedir. Bu çalışmanın sonucu, bir eğitim modeli yapısı geliştirilmekte ve uygulamaya koyulmaktadır. Bu eğitim modelinin yetkilileri daha fazla sokak çocuğunun sokaklardan kurtarılmasını mümkün kılması ümit edilmektedir.

INVESTIGATION OF THE EDUCATION LEVEL OF STREET BOYS FOR ADMISSION TO OCCUPATIONAL TECHNICAL EDUCATION The purpose of this study is to suggest a model to determine the education levels of the street boys before admitting them to technical training. To rehabilitate street boys for occupational training, it is necessary to determine their education levels. For a street boy who is put through an occupational technical training to join the industry force, a preparatory program is required to be developed. During the first two years in the workshop the behavior of these students are observed. The outcome of the observations determines whether or not the boy can be employed in the industry. As a result of this study, the structure of an education model is developed and put into practice. It is hoped that this educational model will enable the authorities to save more boys from the streets.
