Publication: Yeni ekonomi ve bilgi toplumunda entelektüel sermayenin yeni kuralları ve bir uygulama
Abstract
Son yıllarda tüm dünyada yaşanan entelektüel sermaye uygulamalarının getirdiğidijital devrimin etkilerini hem bireyler hem de işletmeler fazlasıyla hissetmiştir.Entelektüel sermaye uygulamaları işletmelere sürdürülebilir rekabet kazanımı veperformans artışı sağlamaktadır. Bu nedenle entelektüel sermaye kavramına önem veren,dijital dönüşümü yakalamak isteyen, dijital iş gücü oluşturan işletmeler sektöründebaşarılı konuma ulaşmışlardır. Entelektüel sermaye; insan sermayesi, yapısal sermayeve ilişkisel sermaye olarak üç unsura ayrılmaktadır. Entelektüel sermayenin yarattığıuygulamalar ise yapay zeka, arttırılmış zeka, büyük veri, bulut, akıllı şehirler, blockchain,nesnelerin interneti ve akıllı enerjiler olarak özetlenebilmektedir. Bu uygulamalar tümdünyada yer alan işletmelerin iş süreçlerini, yönetimsel ve yapısal şekillerini tamamendeğiştirerek büyük bir değişiklik yaratmıştır. Toplum 5.0 ve Endüstri 4.0 ‘ın yaşandığıdünyada entelektüel sermaye tüm sektör işletmelerinin performanslarını etkileyen biryenilik yaratıcı olarak yerini almıştır. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı, entelektüel sermayeuygulamalarının teknoloji sektöründe işletme performansına olan etkisini incelemektir.Bu nedenle çalışma, İstanbul’da faaliyet gösteren üç teknoloji işletmesiylegerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın verileri; işletmelerin çalışma konusuyla bağlantılı olaniidepartmanlarında bulunan en yetkin orta ve üst düzey yöneticilileri ile derinlemesinemülakat, doküman inceleme ve gözlem yapılarak toplanmıştır. Görüşme formu, teknolojiişletmelerinin entelektüel sermaye uygulamalarının ve yönetiminin, insan sermayesi,yapısal sermaye ve ilişkisel sermaye olarak sağladıklarını işletme performansına etkileriolarak incelenmiştir. Bununla beraber tez çalışmasının mülakat sorularına yeni ekonomi,bilgi toplumu, dijitalliğin kullanımı, dijital dönüşüm ve işletmelerin geleceğe bakışaçılarına da yer verilmiştir. Burada ki amaç entelektüel sermayenin tamamına hakimolmak ve önündeki engelleri, kısıtlamaları anlamaktır. Tez çalışmasının verileriningüvenirliliğini sağlamak için Kappa Analizi ve işletmelerden alınan geri bildirimlerkullanılmıştır. Veri çözümlemesi yapılırken, açık, seçici ve eksenel kodlamalar yapılarakgömülü teori oluşturulmuş ve oluşturulan kuram ile tez çalışmasının bilimselliğisağlanmıştır.
Both individuals and enterprises have strongly felt the effects of the digitalrevolution introduced by the intellectual capital practices, which has being experiencedworldwide in recent years. The intellectual capital practices provide the enterprises withsustainable competition gain and performance increase. Therefore, the enterprisesattaching importance to the intellectual capital concept, seeking to catch up with thedigital transformation and constituting the digital labour force have reached to thesuccessful position in their sector. The intellectual capital is divided into three aspects ashuman capital, structural capital and relational capital. The applications created by theintellectual capital, on the other hand, can be summarized as artificial intelligence,augmented intelligence, big data, cloud, smart cities, blockchain, internet of things andsmart energies. These applications have created a significant change by completelymodifying the business processes and the managerial and structural forms of theenterprises all around the world. In the world where Society 5.0 and Industry 4.0 aretaking place, the intellectual capital has taken its place as an innovator affecting theperformance of all sector enterprises. The purpose of this thesis study is to examine theeffect of the intellectual capital practices on the performance of the enterprises in thetechnology sector. For this reason, the study was carried out with three technologyiventerprises operating in Istanbul. The data of the study was collected by making thoroughinterviews, document reviews and observations with the most competent mid- and upperlevelmanagers in the departments of the enterprises, which are related to the subject ofthe study. The interview form examined what the intellectual capital practices andmanagement of the technology enterprises provide as human capital, structural capitaland relational capital as their effects on the performance of the enterprises. In addition,the new economy, information society, use of digitalism, digital transformation andenterprises’ perspective to the future were also included into the interview questions ofthe thesis study. The purpose herein is to have a good knowledge of the intellectual capitaland to understand the obstacles and restrictions to it. In order to ensure the reliability ofthe data of the thesis study, Kappa Analysis and feedbacks received from the enterpriseswere used. During the data analysis, the grounded theory was constituted by makingclear, selective and axial codifications and the scientificness of the thesis study wasensured with the theory constituted.
