Abstract
Kur’ân’ı anlamada en önemli husus, içinde geçen kelimelerin anlamlarını tespit etmektir. Çünkü kelimelerin anlamı bilinmeden bir metni anlamak mümkün değildir. Müslüman âlimlerin Kur’ân’ı anlama uğruna yaptıkları ilk çalışmaların bu alanda olduğunu görmekteyiz. Bu çalışmaların en başında gelenlerinden biri de kuşkusuz vücûh ve nezâir ilminde telif edilen eserlerdir. Bu eserlerin başında Mukâtil b. Süleyman’ın el-Vücûh ve’n-nezâir adlı eseri olduğu konusunda hiç kuşku yoktur. Mukâtil’den sonra telif edilen eserler de bu çalışmalarıyla vücûh ve nezâirin Kur’ân ilimlerinin bir alt disiplini haline gelmesine katkı sağlamışlardır. Ancak, Kur’ân ilimleriyle ilgili yazılan klasik dönem kitaplarında iki farklı tanımına rastladığımız vücûh ve nezâir kavramlarından özellikle nezâir hakkında günümüzde iki farklı tanımın daha yapılması, bu ilmin temel noktalarında bile belirsizliklerin olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bu sebeple, Mukâtil b. Süleyman’ın başı çektiği bu ilim dalı hakkında mevcut eserler üzerinden elimizdeki bilgilerin sağlamasının yapılması gerekmektedir. Since it is impossible to understand the meaning of a text without knowing its words, determining the meaning of the words in the Holy Qur’an, is the most significant matter to understand its meaning. Therefore, the initial effort of Muslim scholars to understand the Holy Qur’an dedicated to this issue. The works of the science of wujûh and nazâir are of among such attempts. It is clear that Muqâtil ibn Sulayman’s al-Wujûh wa al-nazâir is one of the most important work of this literature. The books compiled after al-Muqâtil’s work, have contributed the science of wujûh and nazâir to become a sub-genre of the Qur’anic disciplines. There are two different definitions of wujûh and nazâir in the classical works of Qur’anic sciences. However, since there are two more definitions of the word “nazâir” in the contemporary works, it shows that there are still indefinite points in the main subjects of the science of wujûh and nazâir. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the knowledge that we have today, departing from the existing works. This thesis aims to achieve this purpose.
