Su ürünleri kooperatiflerinde karşılaşılan sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri: istanbul ili örneği

Abstract

SU ÜRÜNLERİ KOOPERATİFLERİNDE KARŞILAŞILAN SORUNLAR VE ÇÖZÜM ÖNERİLERİ: İSTANBUL İLİ ÖRNEĞİ Kooperatifçilik, tarım ve tarım dışı alanlarda başarılı uygulamalara sahip bir girişim biçimidir. Kooperatifler dünyada önemli bir ekonomik büyüklük yaratmakla birlikte istihdam ettiği insanlarla da ülke ekonomilerine katkı sağlamaktadırlar. Bu bağlamda, araştırmada su ürünleri kooperatifleri, Türkiye’de balıkçılığın ve su ürünleri kooperatifçiliğinin önemli merkezlerinden biri olan İstanbul ili örneği çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Kooperatiflerin karşılaştıkları sorunlar belirlenmiş ve bunlara yönelik çözüm önerileri sunulmuştur. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde kooperatifçilik ile ilgili genel bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Bu kapsamda, kooperatifçilik düşüncesinin dünyada ve Türkiye’de gelişimi, kooperatifçilik ilkeleri, günümüzde faaliyet gösteren kooperatifler, literatürde sunulan kooperatifçilik sorunları ve çözüm önerileri, küreselleşmenin kooperatifleri nasıl etkilediği ve 6102 sayılı Türk Ticaret Kanunu’nun kooperatiflere getirdiği yenilikler konularına değinilmiştir. İkinci bölümde su ürünleri hakkında tanımlar sıralanmış, su ürünleri kooperatif işletmelerinin kuruluş amaçları, faaliyetleri, kuruluş işlemleri, tabi olduğu su ürünleri mevzuatı ayrıntılarıyla ele alınmış ve su ürünleri sektörü anlatılmıştır. Su ürünleri üretiminin ekonomik boyutu ve sektörün sorunları irdelenmiştir. Araştırmanın son bölümü olan üçüncü bölümde ise su ürünleri kooperatif işletmelerinin karşılaştıkları sorunları tespit etmek amacıyla bir uygulama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Likert ölçeği kullanılarak hazırlanan anketler, İstanbul ilinde 35 su ürünleri kooperatifinde 172 kooperatif ortağına uygulanmış ve elde edilen veriler SPSS 17.0 programıyla analiz edilerek yorumlanmıştır. THE PROBLEMS FACED IN FISHERY COOPERATIVES AND SOLUTION SUGGESTIONS: THE CASE OF ISTANBUL Cooperative Trading System is a form of enterprise which has a successful practice in agricultural and non-agricultural areas. Between creating a major economic size, cooperatives contribute to the world economies by employing people. In this context, in the study, fishery cooperatives were analyzed in the example of Istanbul which is one of the most important centers of fisheries and fishery cooperatives in Turkey. Problems of cooperatives encountered were determined and solution suggestions according to them were recommended. In the first part of the study are given general information about the cooperative trading system. In this context, the development of the idea of cooperative trading system in the world and in Turkey, the principles of cooperative trading system, currently operating cooperatives, the cooperative trading system's problems and solutions recommended in the literature, how globalization affects cooperatives and the innovations brought by the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 were mentioned. In the second part, general information and definitions about fishery products were listed; fishery cooperatives' organizational goals, activities, registration operations, legislation of them were discussed in detail and fisheries and aquaculture sector were described. Economic aspects of aquaculture production and the sector's problems were examined. In the third and the final part of the study, in order to identify the problems faced by fishery cooperatives a practice implemented. The surveys prepared by using Likert scale were performed in 35 cooperatives by 172 cooperative partners in Istanbul and the data were analyzed with SPSS 17.0 interpreted.
