Şehristânî'nin el-Milel ve'n-Nihal adlı eserinde Grek filozofları felsefe tarihi yazıcılığı üzerinden bir inceleme

Abstract

ÖZETKlasik İslâm döneminde, felsefe ve filozoflara dair farklı türdeki eserlerde yer verilmişse de felsefe ve filozoflar detaylı bir şekilde işlenmemiştir. Ancak Şehristânî, şah eseri olarak bilinen el-Milel ve’n-Nihal adlı telifinde filozoflara geniş bir şekilde yer ayırmıştır. Söz konusu eserde müellif, filozofları genel olarak Kadîm ve Mütahhirun diye ayırmış ve bu dönemlerdeki filozofların felsefî doktrinleri üzerinden yeni bir bakış açısıyla ele almıştır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, İslâm’ın klasik çağında yaşamış olan Müslüman bir âlimin el-milel ve nihal zemininde felsefe ve filozof tasavvuru, kullandığı kaynakların tespiti ve vermiş olduğu bilgilerin günümüz felsefe tarihi kitaplarıyla karşılaştırılması olacaktır.

ABSTRACTIn the classical Islamic period, although philosophy and philosophers have been mentioned in different works, they have not been elaborated on in detail. However, Shahrastānī has approached them in detail in al-Milel wa’l-Nihal, which is considered his masterpiece work. In his work, the author has distinguished between the philosophers as Qadim and Mutahhirun and discussed them from a new perspective through their philosophical doctrines. The objective of this thesis is to understand how a Muslim scholar, in the early Islamic period, envisioned the concepts of the philosophy and the philosophers, determined the sources he used and comparison in his book, al-Milel wa’l-Nihal.
