Abstract

Büyük Orta Doğu Projesi Amerika Birleşik Devletleri tarafından Ortadoğu bölgesini yeniden dönüştürmek için hazırlanan projedir. Fas’tan Afganistan’a, Balkanlardan Basra Körfezine kadar olan coğrafyada, İsrail hariç diğerleri Müslüman, 22 ülke proje kapsamındadır. Proje ile enerji kaynaklarının kontrolü ve Batı pazarlarına güvenli bir şekilde aktarımı, bağlantısız ülkelerin ekonomilerinin küresel ekonomiye kazandırılması,terörizm ve kitle imha silahlarının yaygınlaşmasının önlenmesi, İsrail’in güvenliğinin sağlanması, muhtemel rakiplerin çevrelenmesi, İslam’ın dönüştürülmesi ve demokrasinin tesis edilmesi hedeflenmektedir. Bölge ülkeleri Proje’ye genel hatları ile karşı çıkmaktadır. Türk medyası da Proje’nin amaçları konusunda ikiye bölünmüştür. Proje’nin öngördüğü hedefler ve Proje’nin uygulanış şekli evanjelik inanç ile Proje arasındaki bağlantıyı ortaya çıkarmaktadır

GMP AND RELIGION IN THE PRESS Greater Middle East Project (GMP) is a Project prepared by the United States of America to rebuild the Middle East area. From Morocco to Afghanistan, From the Balkans to Bay of Basra, 22 countries, all of them Muslim except Israel are in the scope of the Project. The aim of the Project is to control the energy resources and their safe transfer to the western markets, linking the unassociated countries’ economy to the global economy, preventing the spreading of terrorism and weapons of mass destruction, guaranteeing the safety of Israel, confining the probable rivals, restructuring the Islam and establishing democracy. Countries in the region oppose the Project in general. Turkish press is divided about the aims of the Project. The aims proposed in the Project and the application style of the Project reveals the connection of Evangelic faith with the Project.
