Sadrazam Muhsinzâde Abdullah Paşa'nın telhisleri (değerlendirme-çeviri metin)

Abstract

Bu tez kapsamında incelenen Mecmua, Süleymaniye Kütüphanesi Esad Efendi Koleksiyonu’nda 2238 numarada muhâfaza edilmektedir. Eser, 1736-1739 Osmanlı-Avusturya-Rusya Savaşı esnasında, 5 Ağustos 1737 ile 19 Aralık 1737 tarihleri arasında, toplamda 4,5 ay süreyle sadrazamlık görevinde bulunan Muhsinzâde Abdullah Paşa’nın cepheden Sultan I. Mahmud’a gönderdiği telhisleri ihtiva etmektedir. Mecmua’da bulunan telhis suretlerini kimin derlediği belli değildir. Telhisler toplam 66 adet olup ilk ve son telhisler mükerrer kaydedilmiştir. Bu Mecmua’da yer alan telhislerin bir kısmının asılları Osmanlı Arşivi’nde çeşitli tasniflerde yer almaktadır. Bunların bir mecmuada biraraya getirilmiş olması günümüz araştırmacıları için ciddi bir kolaylık sağlayacaktır. Telhisler, 5 Ağustos 1737 ile 19 Aralık 1737 tarihleri arasında savaşın seyri, ordunun iaşesi, atama ve görevlendirmeler hakkındadır. Bu bakımdan ilgili dönem için birinci elden kaynak özelliğine sahiptir. Mecmua bu tez kapsamında bir giriş ve iki ana bölüm altında incelenmiştir. Giriş bölümünde Osmanlı bürokrasisinde telhis ve telhis mecmuâları ele alınmıştır. Birinci bölümde Muhsinzâde Abdullah Paşa’nın hayatı ve Telhis Mecmûası’nın özellikleri üzerinde durulmuş ve telhislerin özetleri hazırlanmıştır. İkinci bölümde Mecmua’nın transkripsiyon usûllerine uygun olarak günümüz Türkçesine çevrilmiş haline yer verilmiştir.

The Mecmua examined within the scope of this thesis is kept in the Süleymaniye Library Esad Efendi Collection, number 2238. The work contains the telhis sent from the front to Sultan Mahmud I by Muhsinzâde Abdullah Pasha, who served as grand vizier for 4.5 months in total between August 5, 1737 and December 19, 1737 during the 1736-1739 Ottoman-Austrian-Russian War. It is not clear who compiled the copies of the telhis in the Mecmua. There are 66 telhis in total and the first and last telhis are recorded in duplicate. The originals of some of the telhis in this Mecmua are in various classifications in the Ottoman Archives. The fact that they have been brought together in a collection will provide a serious convenience for today's researchers. The telhis are about the course of the war between August 5, 1737 and December 19, 1737, the provisioning of the army, appointments and assignments. In this respect, they are first-hand sources for the relevant period. Within the scope of this thesis, the compendium is analyzed in an introduction and two main chapters. The introduction deals with the telhis and telhis compilations in the Ottoman bureaucracy. In the first chapter, the life of Muhsinzâde Abdullah Pasha and the characteristics of the Telhis Mecmûa are emphasized and summaries of the telhis are prepared. In the second part, the Mecmua is translated into contemporary Turkish in accordance with the transcription methods.
